Famous for being famous, the Kardashian family are no strangers to scandal and public criticism – especially when it comes to matters involving their appearance. Arguably the most well-known of the sisters, Kim Kardashian, has been accused time and time again of having undergone plastic surgery. The latest accusation? The West Family matriarch has had the best plastic surgeon NYC and LA has seen, clone her face to look like Beyoncé Knowles.

It all started in August when Kim’s makeup company, KKW Beauty, was about to launch a brand new 90’s inspired line. In the days leading up to the launch, Kim posted several teaser photos on Instagram promoting the new looks. All was going well until she posted one photo of herself on August 10th, which sparked controversy. The problem? Her uncanny resemblance to R&B superstar, Beyoncé Knowles.

After the images were posted, supporters and critics did not hold back their thoughts; with comments slowly spiraling from positive sentiments like “Love the matte collection” to “This is why Beyoncé doesn’t like you”. This was followed by a barrage of comments accusing Kim of trying to use plastic surgery to look like Beyoncé.

This isn’t the first time though that Kim has been accused of wanting to be more like Beyoncé. Over the years she has received criticism for copying some of Beyoncé’s red carpet looks – once in 2015 at the Met Gala and again in 2018 at a Met Gala afterparty. Kim has even reportedly taken up piano and vocal lessons at various times since marrying critically acclaimed rapper and producer, Kanye West, which has prompted some speculation that the couple wants to “one up” Jay Z and Beyoncé.

Kim’s history with plastic surgery

Over the years, Kim Kardashian has always been scrutinized for her appearance and is often accused of undergoing plastic surgery – which she has vehemently denied. As one of the first style icons with a more curvaceous figure, the reality star has endured years of accusations that she has butt implants. She has also been accused of going under the knife to get an unnaturally slim waist, and some critics have even suggested that she has had a rib removal.

In terms of the reality star’s facial features, fans and even plastic surgeons have alleged that she has gotten a nose job. Based on past pictures, it is very easy for anyone to come to this conclusion as her nose is noticeably narrower than it was five years ago. Some theorize that this is another part of Kim’s plan to look more like Beyoncé, though there is no basis for this assumption.

Despite all of the rumors and accusations, Kim and her PR team have always denied these claims and have asserted that the star has never undergone any plastic surgery. And though it would not hurt her billion dollar empire, a few comparisons of the Holly star’s body changing over time would make anyone think to the contrary.

Kim attributes her changing looks over the years to the use of fillers, occasional botox, contouring techniques, and a healthy diet and exercise. The star and mom of four has also claimed that her figure – and facial features – have changed due to pregnancy and childbirth.

With all of this said, one look at the page of a ‘best’ NYC plastic surgery office’s image gallery of clients, and viewers would disagree.  The changes of the Kardashian clan are very similar to those of less famous women who openly admit to having plastic surgery done.
