RPG Children of Morta got release date a few days ago and it would release for both PC and consoles. The development studio, Dead Mage who developed Shadow Blade and the recently announced Tale of Ronin, has developed the game. Children of Morta is scheduled to launch on September 3 for PC and on October 15 for Nintendo Switch, Playstation4, and Xbox One.

Children of Morta is a story-driven action-RPG with roguelike elements and it offers an ability for a player to control a member of the Bergson family on their quest to fend off the imminent corruption. Along with the rich storyline, Children of Morta has Mixed Fantasy, Combat and Family to give an excellent experience to its players. A player can choose between six playable characters in order to explore the continuously changing dungeons and biomes while uncovering Mount Morta’s history and relics. The trailer of Children of Morta has received an excellent response from the audience for its features and storyline.

Amir Fassihi from Dead Mage wrote about the game in an Xbox Wire blog post to describe the game. He described the game as a story of plain and straightforward emotions with elements of hope, courage, love, and eventually sacrifice and grief. He also added that the characters are unique and a proper rest must be given to them after their frequent use.

Along with the release date, Dead Mage also announced a Signature Edition of Children of Morta which retails for $45 USD on PS4 and $50 USD on Switch. It will include a region-free copy of the game on PS4 or Switch, six enamel pins, a pocket-sized art book, an art card and certificate, and also a “Sierra” box with an outer sleeve.
