“We have come to see wealth as a totally separate, isolated state of being today, one that has zero ties to our purpose, happiness, or trajectory. When we separate the concept of wealth from our spiritual being, we are actually failing to see that wealth and spirituality are deeply and closely tied together.” In fact, Anet Janik argues that you can’t have one without first understanding the other.
As a spiritual being, you are an abundant soul in the universe. This means that you are born with a wealth of spirituality that is already abounding inside of you. Since you are your spirit, you are inherently wealthy, and equal to every other person on the planet. What you decide to do with that natural abundance, however, is up to you.
Your spirit is connected to love, peace, serenity, happiness, and bliss. You can feel all of these states of beings at any time, whenever you want to. The currency of happiness that exists in your soul is unlimited – you can ‘buy’ as much serenity as you want. But it’s up to you to show up to the storefront and make the decision to obtain the serenity in the first place.
Understanding the Indifference of Money
Like all inanimate objects, money is neither good nor bad. It can be weaponized and used in a variety of ways, but that actual value and existence of money is spiritually dead. It works as a trading tool for the acquisition of other things and can be used to advance or harm a person’s life if it is not managed properly.
Many people will root their spirituality in money, in hopes that it will help them overcome their own unhappiness and lack of confidence. In reality, people can do amazing, wonderful things in the world if they use money for good. By being in touch with one’s spirituality and grounding in the world, money can then be used in an impartial way to share that happiness and gratefulness with other people.
“The pairing of an abundance of money and an abundant soul can change the world forever. We mustn’t assume that amassing a lot of money makes someone a bad person. How they choose to use that money is what determines their objectives in this lifetime. But, by being connected to their own spirituality, money can become a powerful tool that makes a person totally and wholly wealthy.”
Anet Janik came from poverty, growing up in a socialist regime that ensured every citizen was part of the poor, dying collective. Anet know what it looks like to be spirituality and monetarily depleted. “Despite the adversity and everything I have overcome in my life, today, I know that I can influence, create, and improve my own life. I have realized that everything I need to curate my reality resides inside of me, and that my wealthy spirit is one I can share with everyone around me. I challenge everyone to see it with this crystal-clear simplicity today.”
