This 21-Year-Old Entrepreneur Has an Inspiring Story of Success

With what started out as his journey on building a college apparel e-commerce company, College Clout, serial entrepreneur Jordan Calderon found himself fascinated with building and scaling brands. This would drive him to find his own success to become a founder of a six-figure company at only 21 years old.

Jordan is a perfect example of how success happens when preparation meets opportunity. Ever since he was young, he always had a knack for business. He knew then that this would become something he would do for the rest of his life, so he worked on developing the skill sets he needed when the opportunity arrived.

Everything he learned was put to the test when he started his own entrepreneurial venture: College Clout, a college apparel e-commerce company. By developing the skill sets he needed to propel this business to great heights, he went on to scale the company nationwide through digital marketing efforts alone. While he was exhilarated by the success his new venture was having, it was also, at the same time, an “aha” moment for Jordan.

He created an opportunity that would turn his life and career around. Seeing the impact that digital marketing had on his business, he took this experience and founded StratDev Digital Marketing.

StratDev Digital Marketing helps businesses grow their online presence. He and his team offer SEO, web development and design, digital PR, paid media, and in-target performance marketing services. Many brands and businesses trust Jordan and his agency immediately. After all, he is his own proof of how he tapped on the power of digital marketing to make a successful business.

In just six months of launching, his agency became a six-figure company, all while bootstrapping it and studying as a full-time college student at UC Santa Barbara.

Jordan and his team at StratDev were able to drive digital transformation strategies, develop and engage customer communities, identify trends and foster opportunities, and most of all, drive growth and revenues. What makes them a unique experience is how their strategies are results-centric and personalized to each of their clients. They are seen as an investment rather than an expense in the eyes of their clients.

“I love receiving messages from my clients saying how we’ve changed their business for the better,” Jordan shares. “And how the work we do for them has made a huge, positive impact on their revenue.”

All of these experiences not only allowed him to create meaningful relationships with his clients, but it also allowed him to improve his skills as a businessman continuously. He partakes in digital marketing strategy and planning, omnichannel execution and optimization, web technologies and platforms, analytical data and reporting, leadership and mentoring, startup culture, ecommerce, and automation.

“I am an innovator, and I will always find new ways to do things better. I will continue to scale and perfect the agency’s core competencies.”

For him, he wakes up every day more driven and motivated to succeed in his ventures. Although he’s seen success earlier than most other entrepreneurs, he remains humble and open to new opportunities around him.

Ultimately, Jordan is an inspiration to many young entrepreneurs who want to start their own business. At first, the opportunity that’s in front of you isn’t going to be the one that’s going to make you succeed. It only prepares you for something else that is beyond what you expect it to be.
