NoJo Homes is an Up-and-Coming Player in the House-Buying Industry

Nolan Johnson accidentally founded NoJo Homes at 20 years old.

Nolan was young and determined to lead his own business, but he was unsure then which specific industry or business model to take on. His interest in business was sparked by a significant mentor of his, whom he met when he was just 16.

At 20, Nolan began his career in the house-buying industry when he received a call from a certain gentleman about his damaged house. This call came in after Nolan had written letters to several landlords of properties he happened to drive by, which he thought “clearly needed a lot of work.” Admittedly, he was only trying to see then where the real estate industry might take him, if anywhere at all. Little did he know, he was already talking to his first client for NoJo Homes on that very call.

The gentleman—referred to as “Carl” (not his real name) by Nolan on his website—has had a house sitting vacant for a while. This property was severely damaged by the previous tenant who intentionally left it in said condition after receiving an eviction notice, which Carl was compelled to file after the tenant had stopped paying her dues. Carl could not pay for repairs, nor did he think anyone would be interested in investing in such a damaged property; thus, he left it vacant.

Over the phone, Nolan had made Carl a purchasing offer, and they were able to close the deal in a matter of weeks. Carl did not have to worry about appraisals, money for repair, open houses, financing contingencies, or the like, which a traditional house seller would go through. His property was purchased “as is,” and he got to be paid immediately for it. This is what NoJo Homes is about.

The house-buying industry can be dubious, and it might be challenging to determine where one can genuinely place their confidence. Thus Nolan is determined to provide quality, efficient, and trustworthy services with his brainchild company.

Nolan emphasizes how the brand values providing a world-class experience and, at the same time, a personalized approach to every property owner they interact with. NoJo Homes is perfect for those needing to sell their properties fast—people who are relocating for a job, have inherited a property they have no plans to use, are facing the probability of foreclosure, are not in the capacity to deal with repairs/renovations, are having trouble paying mortgages, or are going through a divorce, among many.

In the house-buying industry, there is not a household brand name yet that comes to mind that is equivalent to Apple or Nike for gadgets or shoes which almost anyone can vouch for in terms of quality. Nolan’s dream is for NoJo Homes to achieve that level of dependability in the industry someday. He wishes for NoJo Homes to be the “nationwide, go-to, trusted source for people who want to sell their house fast for cash.”
