The US President Donald Trump may file a lawsuit against CNN for covering unethical, unfair, and unlawful news against him. Donald Trump’s lawyer, Charles Harder had recently sent a letter to CNN to notify it about the defamatory act. On the other hand, the CNN spokesperson has called it a “desperate PR stunt”.

Many questions were being raised over the recorded video footage released by Project Veritas and it made Trump’s lawyer got involved in it. And an alleged CNN whistleblower called it a mere attempt to disrespect Donald Trump by running propaganda. Harder in his letter mentioned the payments and necessary legal action against the defamatory remarks of CNN.

Harder has accused CNN of violating the Lanham Act’s trademark governance and also acting against the Society for Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics. An uproar has been created by this legal action news and the entire matter may worsen in the coming time. According to Harder, attempts are being made by CNN to take down US President Donald Trump.

According to him, the practice of unfairly and dishonestly covering news stores simply violates the ethical code of conduct. On the other hand, CNN representative has called Harder’s claim as a mere ‘PR stunt’ and it has intensified the situation grievously.

In the video by Project Veritas, the low-level CNN staffers are seen discussing liberal bias and the CNN president, Jeff Zucker, refusing to produce a story in the favor of Trump. The US president, Donald Trump said last week that he may take a call of legal action against CNN after seeing the tapes with his own eyes. And Harder’s legal proceedings hints a step in this direction only.
