How celebrity jewellery designer Franky Diamond  is helping curb poverty with World Partnership Walk

Some brave artists, celebrities, and high-profile personalities across the world are championing new models and initiatives that merge purpose and profit to create effective, lasting, and meaningful change in their communities, for the people, environment, and beyond. What’s better is the fact that the people in the present are responsible and conscious citizens, constantly seeking to bring about a wave of change through innovations, to strengthen not only their lives but also that of the less fortunate sectors of the society. This, in turn, has given a boost to philanthropy on a wide-scale. Toronto-native Franky Diamond, a celebrated jewellery designer, is one of those among many others to have lent his hands, voice, and efforts for an international cause in association with World Partnership Walk – a non-profit committed to curbing poverty.

Franky is contributing $5 from the sale of each of his product, which then goes towards the contribution for the larger cause that World Partnership Walk has undertaken. Owing to his humble roots, the celebrity jeweller considers it his responsibility to do things for the betterment of people and society in general. Speaking on the objective, Franky said, “I can closely resonate with the mission that World Partnership Walk has commenced. Thus, I feel grateful as well as honoured to partner with them. Having monitored their initiatives over the years, I’m certain that together we can curb poverty, if not end it, through food, healthcare, educational security. Our mutual aim now is to build resilient communities.”

In Franky’s opinion, this mission and initiative are very close to his heart. Having commenced his career as a tax analyst and then mastered the art of jewellery designing, and furthermore, the transition from struggle to success is what makes this partnership special and personal for him. As someone who looked up to his father and grandfather who moved from Pakistan to Canada with barely $1000 in their wallet, their courage and grit to take up opportunities is what inspires Franky to do better for himself as well as the people around him. To this, he also adds, “Millions of people around the world are struggling to live, feed themselves, and get educated. Through my work, social media, and partnership with the non-profit, I am trying to generate attention and the much-needed resources for ending world poverty. There’s nothing more satisfying than giving back. I think it’s the right thing to do.”

Franky, through the means of his work and social efforts, is bringing about a change whilst taking forth his family legacy spanning over five decades. Going ahead, he wishes to unite with other non-profits and undertake social initiatives that work in favor of the underprivileged. He believes, collaboration with like-minded individuals – partners and leaders, goes a long way in strengthening and supporting the sustainable dream of the secured world. “Just like anything else, positive changes happen with a lot of dedication, empathy, and hard work,” shared Franky.
