Social media star Patrick Mungovan talks the latest trends in 2020

Patrick Mungovan, a self-employed swimming instructor from Ireland who became a global social media sensation, has shared his insights on the upcoming trends for 2020.

The 24-year-old set up a blog back in 2017 and was soon nominated for several awards, uploading posts from food recipes to his trips around Europe with friends and his own tips on water safety.

Later in 2018, he won Best Snapchatter and Upcoming Social Media Star at the International Runway Achievers & Recognition Awards in Dublin. He also went on to win Best Snapchatter and Most Outstanding Young Person in 2019 which cemented his social media status.

Patrick continues to inspire and entertain with his highlights, and shared with us some anecdotes on what’s happening in the world of social media, and where he sees things going.

Speaking with The American Reporter, Patrick Mungovan said “Social media in 2020 is a very important aspect in everyone’s life! Everything nowadays is online so I think it’s the way forward for people and businesses included.”

Over on Instagram, Patrick has also amassed a large social following and shares his latest adventures with his community of fans from around the world – and with the growth in social media and the popularity of Instagram, he’s finding a lot of opportunities to connect with new audiences.

“I am extremely grateful for all the amazing opportunities I’ve received, and the great people I’ve met through social media,” said Patrick, who’s been following closely the changes in the social media landscape. And with Instagram being the most popular social media platform among Gen-Z users, Patrick continues to grow a fanbase on the platform,  while sharing his latest adventures.
