Everyone wishes to lead a healthy lifestyle. But as soon as you start adding sugar to your morning coffee or snack on chips in the evening, you start adding an unwanted fat. Plus, if you can’t go out to exercise during winters, you run the risk of packing on even more pounds. Jack DeBrabander, a renowned celebrity fitness trainer, urges you to not go down that road. He believes that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle without changing too much of your routine.

What to eat

Jack strongly recommends that you quit eating sugary products like pastries, ketchup, and protein bars. Apart from sugary food, he also wants you to stay away from smoothies with ice-creams, coffee with milk and sugar, and aerated drinks. He says that once you stop consuming sugary products, your daily calorie consumption goes down significantly.

Just like most health experts, Jack recommends seasonal vegetables and fruits more than anything else. Jack loves to make soup with seasonal vegetables. For example, in his famous Jack Estes DeBrabander cauliflower soup, he puts carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, snow peas, and other seasonal veggies. It not only satisfies your hunger pangs but also limits the number of carbs you consume in a day. This is a double-dose to keep fat away.

Many people cannot start their day without drinking coffee. Jack DeBrabander doesn’t want you to break your routine. He only suggests that you shouldn’t mix milk and sugar to it as they not only reduce the effects of coffee but also add calories right at the start of your day. If you need to drink coffee, drink it black, without a grain of sugar. For the rest of the day, you can drink green tea. Green tea has antioxidant properties that keep your heart healthy and also reduce your weight.

How to exercise

As one of the best celebrity fitness experts in the world, Jack DeBrabander often gets questions on the types of exercises that can keep people healthy and fit. Jack has a very straightforward answer. He says that you can do anything you want as long as you are enjoying it. That means if you love running and not lifting weights, then run every day. He doesn’t want to force his clients to do anything specific. Jack thinks that forcing anyone to exercise doesn’t produce quick results.

Many of his clients prefer yoga over daily exercise. He supports their choice and teaches them different yoga moves. On the other hand, some of his clients love kayaking and surfing. He encourages them to carry on with these watersports activities. The secret of Jack’s fitness instructions is that he allows his clients to follow whatever they like. He even follows this while recommending diet plans.

For example, he doesn’t want you to stop eating bread or pasta because they contain high quantities of carb. Jack believes in leading a balanced lifestyle. Eating fries once in a while will not make you fat. It’s only when you make it a habit of eating these types of food that you start creating an imbalance in your lifestyle.
