Millennials are highly tech-savvy. They prefer to do everything online. From paying electric bills to connecting with friends and relatives on social media, everything is available to them on their fingertips. As an entrepreneur, you should make the most of this opportunity. If you want your brand to make a long-lasting impression, you should target your millennial audience to spread the word.

Graham Kramer, a famous personality in the marketing and advertising industry, suggests that you follow these three tricks to communicate with your social media audience.

1. Celebrate your audience engagement

There is nothing better than making your audience feel good about their involvement with your brand. Coca Cola recently grandly celebrated its 100th anniversary. They wanted their followers to be a part of their celebration. Therefore, they started a campaign on different social media websites where they asked their followers to share their happiest moments with a Coca Cola hashtag.

There were thousands of responses from various countries. On the day of its anniversary, Coca Cola released videos containing the hashtag moments of the people who shared their experiences as instructed by the company. Coca Cola drinkers were overjoyed to see their posts on the company’s official website and social media handles. Graham Kramer wants you to create this type of engagement with your target audience. Allow them to decide how you should celebrate your first anniversary by creating a poll. Follow their instructions and show them that you honor their decision.

2. Never fail to respond to potential customers

Graham has strict instructions for everyone who wants to make long-lasting impressions on their audience on social media. He says that if your company has an official social media handle, you should respond to customer queries and complaints immediately. Millennials don’t want to wait too long. They can make your company page viral if they don’t get a prompt response.

Plus, it is the best way to show that you care about your customers. If they face any issue, either provide a solution publicly or ask them to provide their email address and other contact details so that one of your customer care representatives can get in touch with them.

3. Show your contribution to society

Millennials love companies that care about the environment. They will stick with your company through thick and thin if they find out your company contributes to social causes. For example, many small businesses contributed to relief operations for the victims of the Amazon wildfires in 2019 and urged their customers to do the same. They also came up with a plan to present customers with a gift coupon if they contributed through the company.

Graham Kramer believes that millennials will care for you if you care for them and the environment. Most importantly, you need to post about your contribution to social media to let others know about your initiative.

It is not easy to impress millennials. But if you take the time to understand the way they communicate and how they respond to your messages, you have a better shot at turning them into loyal brand advocates.
