There were 18.66 million concealed carry permit holders in the US in 2019. The numbers don’t lie, and there was an increase in the number of users from 2018 to 2019. 1.4 million people got a permit for holding a gun in 2019. That means more and more people are taking their safety into their hands. One who doesn’t have a gun should also hurry and get a gun.

Out of all the Americans, 30% say that they hold a gun where it is allowed, like in Florida. But out of all the people who own a gun, only 76% of people admit that they own a gun. The reasons aren’t clear about why they don’t admit they own a weapon.

Out of all the people who admit they hold a gun, 11% admitted that they hold a gun all the time. It may be because of safety issues, and that they want to feel safe all the time. 27% of the people who admit, say that they hold the weapon most of the time. And 57% admit they hold it rarely or just sometimes.

Many people have a permit to hold a gun and states like Florida offer permits to non residents too. You can check about Florida Non Resident CCW to know about this more. But we don’t know how many people own a firearm without permits. Then the number of people having weapons becomes much larger. 7.3% of adult Americans have the permit to have guns.

It means in a room of 10 people, at least one person has a gun. More and more people are taking their safety into their hands. Moreover, people are also getting training on how to operate the weapons. It is not long before every American will own a concealed carry permit and a gun.
