Landscapers always use a variety of tools to get the job done. May it be cleaning up the job site or getting rid of snow, they have many tools at their disposal to make their job easy.

Recently, Total Landscape Care consulted John Deere, ASV and Toro. And asked them which attachments seem to resonate with landscapers. And forestry mulchers and landscape rakes topped the list of favourites. There are other tools like buckets and pick up brooms which the landscapers love using as well.

These two tools come in handy and thats why they have become popular among Landscapers, specially the ATV landscape rakes. The study said that When (landscapers) are using mulchers, guys can go in and clear a piece, particularly underbrush or larger stuff if necessary, and do that initial clearing. It helps earlier in the process, whereas rakes help with wrapping up of the assignment. It is a productive finishing tool for putting in new lawns and similar projects.

A landscape rake is generally used when there is a need to lay the soil properly. If you want to sow seeds, then you can use a rake to aerate the soil and then sow it. And if there is any sort of debris in the soil or lumps you can use rake to aerate the soil better.

Compact track loaders (CTLs), work well with mulchers as well as rake. The reason why they are used is entirely different though. They work smoothly in rough terrains. If the terrain is stiff and wet then you can use CTLs with mulchers or rake.

Forestry rake cost around $10, 000. But mulchers cost much more, around $35,000. That’s why they are considered to be a rental attachment. The items which the landscapers do not use frequently become less important and thus can be rented rather than bought.
