Hosted by Augustine Tours, a travel company renowned for designing unique, African itineraries and experiences, their latest Trekking Gorilla Rwanda Tour allows visitors to discover the very best of what Rwanda has to offer.

Whisking travelers through guided game drives, gorilla and monkey trekking, chimpanzee trekking, and hosting community experiences, the tour is a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife opportunity. A tour where “wildlife, traditions and culture meet”, the itinerary has been designed with its visitors in mind, enabling visitors to experience “a little bit of everything”.

“Aside from the beauty of this fantastic country, what makes this latest tour so exceptional is the varied itinerary we have set out for those who take part,” says Augustin Ndikuriyo, founder of Augustine Tours.

“The Trekking Gorilla Rwanda tour takes visitors through some real bucket list activities and experiences throughout Rwanda and Eastern Africa, including exquisite safari trips, and even some more cultural experiences.”

“You won’t find a travel company that focuses on customer experience as much as we do, and our professional guides will always go that extra mile to deliver exceptional experiences that guests can treasure forever. It’s our passion  to deliver that for everyone that takes part.”

Meeting at Kigali International Airport, guests will then set off on a private, guided experience, with the fees including meals, accommodation, travel, visits to national parks, and even Gorilla, Chimpanzee and Monkey trekking permits. The trip ends back where it started, making it an easy flight and trip to plan for those who are coming from overseas.

“The tour really is the perfect blend of wildlife and culture,” says Augustin.

“Everyone needs to experience a like this at least once in their life, and with our experienced guides by your side throughout the entire trip, we’ll make sure you experience everything you possibly can during your time here. The tour also includes an exclusive Game Drive in Akagera National Park, which is renowned for being Central Africa’s largest protected wetland, and the last remaining refuge for savannah-adapted species in Rwanda.”

Also included in the tour is a Kigali City tour, Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk, the official Trekking Gorilla Rwanda experience, Golden Monkey Trekking, and a Kivu Lake Boat Trip across the Nyamyumba hot springs.

Our Rwanda wildlife tours are designed to provide its guests with the unique opportunity to get up-close and personal with gorillas, as well as a taste for culture and tradition.

“When we say this trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity for travelers from all around the world, we really do mean it” says Augustin.

“Witnessing such beautiful and majestic animals in their natural habitat is an experience like no other, and our travelers are often speechless at the sight of such incredible African culture and wildlife. If you’re going to ever visit East Africa and book a tour, this one has to be it.”

When booking the experience, you’ll get private, roundtrip transportation, airport transfers, accommodation, full tour guide services, necessary permits, water and meals included.

The tour is available to book all-year-round.
