As per the report of the National Fire Administration, around 3,000 home clothes dryer fires are reported every year in the US, which results in an estimated property loss worth $35 million. Steps are being taken by the US government to address the problem and spread awareness about preventing such incidents at home.
After carrying out deep investigations related to home fire incidents due to dryers, it has been found that ignorance of people towards dryer vent cleaning is one of the major factors responsible for such incidents.
