It has been come to notice that the number of cases of fires due to home clothes dryers has been increasing at a significant rate. As per the report of the National Fire Administration, around 3,000 home clothes dryer fires are reported every year in the US, which results in an estimated property loss worth $35 million. Steps are being taken by the US government to address the problem and spread awareness about preventing such incidents at home.

After carrying out deep investigations related to home fire incidents due to dryers, it has been found that ignorance of people towards dryer vent cleaning is one of the major factors responsible for such incidents. Many services related to the dryer vent and the air duct cleaning have come into existence in various regions of the US. The demand for dryer vent cleaning in Las Vegas has increased significantly due to the growing awareness of people towards preventing home dryer fires.

Even people have also been working to find many other ways to clean dryer vents in order to prevent fires at home. It has been found that the laundry that passes through a washing machine leads to the accumulation of lint in clothes’ dryer. And this happens due to the loosening of small particles of cloth and fiber from clothing because of the action of agitating water.

The restriction of airflow due to the buildup of lint leads to overheating and hence results in home dryer fires. Due to the spread of awareness about dryer home fires, people have been largely opting for dryer vent cleaning services to prevent fires at their homes.
