The short movie is intriguing and has a plot that will grab the viewer’s interest to keep them hooked with constant twists.

The entertainment industry has given the audience some of the best page-turners of late, which has kept them glued to their seats. Many production companies have come up with unique storylines that have grappled the viewers, and the past year has seen a series of such movies and short films. The creativity of some filmmakers have taken them to the next level as their films have been outstanding, making them stand out from the rest, some even winning coveted awards. One of the recent productions which has taken the viewers off their feet with its thrilling storyline and immaculate direction is ‘Poolside’, which is a mid-century modern short film produced by Kinter Media.

The film has been noticed by a wide audience owing to its distinctive content, which is thrilling to its core. Directed by filmmakers Alex Kinter and Erik Schuessler, it has been rated as one of the best short indie thriller film which is predicted to sweep all awards, with several already on its shelf currently. The level of suspense with a twist in the tale has many nail-biting moments that will keep the audiences guessing what’s in store for them next. The revelations that take place during the course of the movie will keep viewers on their toes, for sure.

The short film has been widely acclaimed and has made its way to the Houston WorldFest 54th Annual International Film Festival with a Platinum Remi Award for Best Thriller Short Film. The film has been picked up from a host of entries and this year more than 100 short films were competing for the award, out of which ‘Poolside’ bagged the title. The entire team is elated by winning the award in this category and have thanked the audiences for the kind of love and support they have shown towards their production.

It has won a series of awards following its first win, which has boosted the team’s confidence. Some of these include the Special Jury Mention for the Award of Excellence in Indie Short Fest (A Los Angeles International Film Fest); Gold Award for Best First Time Director (Alex Kinter and. Erik Schuessler), Runner-up for the Best Film of the Month (January 2021) from the Independent Shorts Awards; Gold Award for Best Cinematography (Alex Kinter), Platinum Award for Best Mystery Short, and Special Mention for the Award of Excellence and Best Women (lead) Short from IndieX Film Fest. Apart from these it has won more than 20 international awards which has taken the films’ success on a global platform.
