Gospel singer and songwriter Maurice Griffin dreams of touching the lives of many with the messages he incorporates into his songs. He believes that it is about time for the people of the world to listen to new songs—songs that not only enrich the soul but also make an impact in various ways.

Maurice Griffin comes a long way, and the story of his upbringing is just as influential as his songs. His singing talent started when he was just five years old. Being already talented at such a young age, Maurice began singing professionally when he was 9. From his first solo up until now, he has never failed to entertain and touch his audience.

His solo career is rooted in being in an urban city choir from Chicago, Illinois, called the New Direction. They traveled and performed for ten years, and along the way, experience sharpened his skills and talent. With the teachings and training from his mentors Jearl V. and Percy Gray, Maurice Griffin was able to become an exceptional talent.

He was featured in BET’s Sunday Best Gospel competition as a finalist in Season II. Maurice said that the show brought to life some of what he described as his hidden potentials in music and performing, thus giving him a major solo career.

Now Maurice Griffin is at the pinnacle of this career, having two hit songs, “Judah, Prove Me I’m Yours” and “Love Peace Happiness”, which both charted on the Gospel Billboard only within just 12 months upon its release. Other milestones such as “Love Peace Happiness” garnered 1.6 million views on Facebook alone and both singles reached over 3 million streams.

Maurice Griffin stated that “‘Love Peace Happiness’ is a contagious song that will lift anyone’s spirit who may be down and increase anyone’s spirit that may be already up. This song is a 100% positive energy booster. This brand only promotes love, peace, and happiness, in which this world needs even more every day.”

His goal is to establish opportunities for creative minorities, helping them live their dreams to the fullest. His goal for “Love Peace Happiness,” which is to establish opportunities for creative minorities and help them live their dreams to the fullest, just shows how he wants to help his fans and the people around him through inspiration in his music.

Maurice Griffin plans on targeting the world. He expressed that his songs are intended to be a musical vaccination of hope for humanity during this pandemic. In 2018, because of his captivating personality, contagious smile, and incredible voice, he became a well-known Gospel artist in Jamaica, Canada, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.

He stated, “I hope to keep building on this current momentum,” so look forward to the new songs that he will be dropping.
