Finding the Right Coffee Table has Become the Top Preference of Many Coffee Lovers Today

Finding the Perfect Coffee Table for your space while complementing your other furniture is key to good home décor and pleasant Coffee time.

The coffee table needs to have the right combination of form, function, style and service. The choices in the market are endless. But there are logical considerations to be made before buying a coffee table. Like choosing the right sized coffee table according to the space considering dimensions, clearance and a certain balance with other elements in the room. The coffee table should generally be about 2/3rd the length of the sofa or the seating.

Similarly decision should be taken keeping in mind the shape of the table in relation to both function and shape. The best shape is determined by the layout of the room and how much space will be required around it to move comfortably. Shape also adds style to the whole space. A heavy, round design will anchor a large space or be an accent to furniture pieces with tailored shapes and long legs, adding to the visual lightness. The height of the table should be comfortable and aesthetically balanced. It should align with cushions of sofa but a few inches shorter could also work well.

Mixing shapes of the furniture can add drama to the room like if there are 2 curved sofas then an oval coffee table or a fish tank coffee table will look best. Or if the room has everything square, mix it up with a circular coffee table. Balance of course is the key word but so is making the room a total fun and something that depicts the owner’s personality. Play with the shapes and colors by adding a pop of color in the coffee table in the otherwise neutral space. There are no hard and fast rules.
