Former Model Merritt Fletcher Launches Meet, a Global Utility App for Professionals and Influencers

An emerging Android and Apple application called Meet is about to revolutionize how many professionals and influencers do their business online. The launching of Meet will enable numerous specialists to continue offering remote services using an easy-to-use and highly effective mobile interface. One of its most promising and exciting features includes a teleconference function that allows users to get paid by the hour, down to the last minute.

The paid teleconference function is a very helpful tool for many work-from-home professionals and entrepreneurs such as dog trainers, fitness instructors, and stylists, as the application makes sure that they get paid accordingly. This relieves users of the hassle of having to secure payment first or after each session. Additionally, the app also carries features that allow potential clients to book an appointment based on the service provider’s availability. Users are also given the liberty to set the price for their services.

Founded by former international model Merritt Fletcher, the idea behind the app came to her during one of her travels abroad. As someone who is constantly on the go, she saw a pressing need for her to stay connected with her other commitments even when she was elsewhere other than New York. She saw the same need among her network of friends who needed to continue earning from wherever part of the world they may be. At present, Meet is the only Apple-approved app that allows experts and professionals to name their own prices and do in-app meetings to provide their services online using an iPhone. Fletcher invested a lot of thorough planning and brainstorming to develop a design that will serve users excellently.

“Safety is paramount to me, and I have installed safety features that allow users to block other users from inside or outside a meet,” Fletcher explains. “Meets also automatically open and close around pre-purchases time, so no private information is ever shared, and users are never on the phone longer than what a buyer has purchased time for. Of course, while in Meet, a buyer can request and buy more time if a seller doesn’t have another meet directly after, but it’s still up to the seller to confirm the booking,” she adds.

While modeling was her primary career before developing Meet and deciding to run it full-time, Fletcher has always been fond of tech platforms. During her spare time, she would come up with various ideas for apps that would benefit multiple users from around the world.

Meet’s exceptional and limitless potential makes Fletcher confident that it will become a leader in remote work and mobile opportunities in the near future. Aside from growing the company significantly and impacting the mobile app sector positively, she is currently working on a partnership that will enable Meet to reward its users as it continues to expand. Fletcher hopes to put meet at the forefront of corporate giving and sharing programs, inspired by her belief that social media and technology should give back to users who maximize their services.

As Meet empowers its users to earn passive income at a time when many people are losing their jobs left, and right due to the world crisis, the opportunity to continue earning from the comfort of one’s home is very promising. Just as Merritt Fletcher is excited about the many benefits of using Meet, she also hopes that professionals and influencers will find it helpful in operating their business and personal brand.
