In what can be called a unique sense of foresight, Kevin Szura started Tooley to solve a problem. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, many public food providers have opted for plastic disposable cutleries to reduce contamination and the spread of the virus, which is a good idea. However, it leaves the problem of environmental pollution when producing these plastic cutleries and disposing of them.

Kevin took note of these problems and decided to do something about it by creating Tooley, a portable and reusable cutlery brand. Tooley is a brand for everyone who is health-conscious and would like to eat with their own cutleries at all times. It is the perfect alternative to plastic cutleries, and it fits into any location, whether it is a restaurant, having lunch at work, or a food truck. This cutlery brand is never out of place no matter where it is being used, and its silicone cover makes it even more stylish to hold or keep in the pocket.

Tooley is designed for college students, mothers with kids aged between 13 and 24, men and women with busy lifestyles who may have to eat outside their home. Kevin Szura established Tooley as not just another cutlery set brand. He is all about creating a lifestyle out of the brand and instilling new mindsets in people that they can stick to. Mindsets that range from being environment-conscious to being health conscious. At this point, it goes beyond making cutlery for food; it is poised to become a part of life for everyone that gets to use the product. “We want to make a change in the world, not just sell a product; we want to sell a lifestyle,” says Kevin. “I wanted to make a change in the world. Not just sell another product but actually be a part of the solution in our environmental problems,” he adds.

For Kevin Szura, protecting the environment is a collective effort, and he is doing his part through his company. In a few years, alongside building Tooley to become a global brand, it will also be a face for waste reduction and proper waste disposal. Kevin also hopes to support different nonprofit organizations globally towards making the world a better place.

Each Tooley piece of cutlery is made using FDA-approved stainless steel, which ensures the highest hygiene level. “Carrying and using a Tooley has numerous benefits, and I am happy to be in the driving seat of this change. I want everyone to realize that this is one of the things that will take over the world and how they will be ahead of the curve soon enough. Everyone will be carrying their own utensils, whether it’s a Tooley or not.” Kevin says.

Seeing how this brand is becoming necessary in a world where everyone is taking precautions, it is left to be seen how many people are going to identify with it and its value offering.
