How Coin Provides For the Financial Needs of Gen XYZ

Different generations trust different technologies. And too often, those who offer the solutions and products aren't close enough to the ones who are in need of them, in order to genuinely understand them.

Gen XYZ is a large demographic of the modern world who’s particular financial service needs are not being catered to. They prefer to operate online in digital environments that are easy to manage, personalized, and educational. They frequently utilize services such as Twitter, Instagram, etc. Companies ignore them at their peril for they will be responsible for trillions of dollars of spending and investing in years to come. This is an agile crowd who; use technology; are concerned about the size of the carbon footprint they leave; and are not interested in doing business with anyone who wastes their time, money/resources. That said, their particular needs have been overlooked by the current financial services industry.

FinTech startup, Coin, founded by Microsoft Alumni Damon Nam and Byron Levels, will change all of that. They have positioned themselves to be the first touchpoint of financial services focused on this next generation of consumers. Coin intends to give this demographic what they are looking for. They have announced the launch of a decentralized exchange intended to disrupt current cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges by providing the easiest and most secure way to manage assets. One of the best aspects of this is, you only need any web browsing device to take advantage of its technology.

Coin is creating a system, composed of decentralized solutions, that empowers customers to execute secure financial transactions directly with each other with ease.

Younger consumers want the ability to disconnect from traditional banks and manage their own money. Especially without fees. They have interests and expectations that require a different set of user experiences, interactions, and services that current providers do not focus on. Forecasts suggest that this trend will continue amongst the newer generations as the goal of financial independence grows and on-demand lifestyle services increase.

Enter the Coin Exchange, a P2P decentralized cryptocurrency exchange and assistant. It is powered by atomic swap technology (smart contracts that replace the need for third-party involvement) and artificial intelligence. Coin’s decentralized exchange includes an integrated wallet for users to store popular digital assets.

Coin Exchange also includes browser extension support for the Internet’s most popular web browsers. This feature uses AI technology to provide insights and execute transactions faster.

The AI assistant operates like Grammarly’s grammar recognition, recognizing blockchain-related keywords from any webpage, allowing Coin to instantly provide data, education, and more. Consumers can even execute financial transactions directly from any input field in any webpage by simply typing commands such as “send $50 bitcoin @johndoe”.

“By leveraging emerging technology, we are placing the power back into the hands of the people, and empowering consumers to manage their wealth with an innovative digital assets experience that is simple, secure, and personalized,” says Damon Nam, founder and CEO at Coin.

Coin is understanding and meeting the needs of Gen XYZ. The startup believes in an open financial system that empowers consumers to independently manage their own wealth, and has come up with the solution.
