Use Your Challenges for Inspiration

After learning English from scratch when moving from Tehran to Canada at age 10, Sam Hoss’ talent is born from a need to excel at the language and dominate the music scene. He has driven to learn the English language and master the craft of rapping from a young age, and it shows in his recent success collaborating with Rick Ross and Dillin Hoox. He’s even managed by Hip Hop Canada, and we can see huge things for him in his future. Creativity runs through his veins, and his family are supporting him throughout his journey. It’s no surprise that Sam is becoming a rising star in the music scene, with his father being a singer and his aunt a published poet.

Never Stop the Grind

Sam takes inspiration from his life experience. Moving to a foreign country and having a huge language barrier has inspired him to overcome challenges faced throughout his life. He has been steadily building on his success after starting to professionally make music just 2 years ago, and the pace doesn’t look like it’s going to be slowing down anytime soon. Sam chooses to lead with genuine passion, inspired by the fact that someone, somewhere might be gaining insight and inspiration from his music, or using it as a crutch to get through a dark time. What puts Sam apart from many other modern artists is his commitment to the craft, using his love of rap to propel him forward in his career and always see the bigger picture.

In recent months, Sam’s drive has been paying off and he’s seen some huge success. He chooses not to get complacent with his growth, and instead is using it as a tool to push him further to reach the limits he knows he can achieve. He wants to stay true to his purpose of inspiring hope in people everywhere. He hopes to expand his professional career, and give a chance to new musicians who want to start a career in music, discovering new talents and giving them the start they need.

The Power of Positivity

Sam preaches seeing the bigger picture, and feeling content with the fact that no matter how hard things are right now, they will always get better. A positive outlook is key for finding new inspiration and continuing on a good working path, and he believes it’s what makes or breaks an artist working in the music industry. Keep yourself surrounded by good people, and use each other to get energized and level up.

As of September 4th, Sam just dropped his debut project on all streaming platforms, featuring a 6 track LP titled Fire Spitta. His plans for the future include working with Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne.
