Many times, life has a way of throwing challenges and trials at champions. But this happens not to strike them out, but to build them up for more magnificent chapters and callings. Minister and entrepreneur Tyler Anderson, Sr. understands what that’s like. With the storms that he has experienced in life, he has found a way to weather out the waves and come out victorious.

Tyler is a pastor, author, global business strategist, and finance expert. He is the founder and CEO of The Anderson Group, a multi-million dollar finance and consulting firm that helps organizations, both nonprofit and commercial, secure funding for expansion projects. Tyler has worked with nonprofits, educational institutions, and faith-based schools. He is one of the best in the field at nonprofit, educational, faith-based finance.

Tyler’s rise to faith and finance prominence was not always a cruise. He spent his childhood in a Christian home, raised under affluent pastors who were efficient kingdom financiers and preachers. Faith played a significant role in his life as he grew up filled with the Word and with the conviction to pursue what God has in store for him. But growing up, he wasn’t very good at school. Midway through high school, he had to drop out because he kept on failing math subjects.

Later, he found a steady path in the death care industry. He went on to earn a GED certificate from Seminole Community College “Adult High School” and went on to study Mortuary Science at the Gupton Jones Mortuary Science College in Decatur, Georgia. His educational background landed him a stable and prominent role with North America’s largest funeral provider.

While working this corporate job, Tyler developed a love for insurance and investments. Later on, his new found love grew into a full-fledged company.  Later on, his side hustle grew into a full-fledged company. Tyler called the enterprise Anderson Capital Insurance and Investments. In finance, Tyler found both a career and a calling. He found joy in guiding people in the area of investments and financial decision-making. But later on in his career, fate threw one of the most extensive trials he would have to face: a lawsuit that would ultimately cost Tyler the company.

But even in the pit, Tyler chose to hope. He picked himself up again and went back to school. Pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Finance at Rollins College, Tyler knew that the businessman would continue to find success along the path he had chosen. This move led him to start The Anderson Group, a company that he continues to scale to this very day.

Side by side with business, Tyler always pursued his calling as a minister of the Word at the same time. During the coronavirus crisis, the church he pastors was forced to become a “Virtual Church,” an online service that ministers to those trapped in their homes through lockdown season. Most recently, Tyler’s ministry penned a deal with a major television channel to bring Virtual Church to 236 million homes in the United States, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Western Europe areas. The televised service starts airing on September 5, 2020.

Tyler continues to help those in need, most notably in these trying times. He seeks only to do God’s work and to uplift those who need encouragement to get through their deepest storms.
