Building Champions, Creating Community: The Vision Behind Home of Fight

Combat sports are more than just a fight or a test of endurance – they’re a source of electrifying entertainment, a mix of different cultures, and above all, create a sense of community. At the forefront of this ever-changing landscape is Home of Fight (HOF), a rapidly growing media platform that brings innovative content, cutting-edge tools, and a deep connection to its audience.

Founded to change the way fans experience combat sports, HOF has grown to over a million followers across social media. The company’s vision goes beyond traditional media – it’s about creating a space where athletes, fans, and brands come together to celebrate martial arts, boxing, and MMA. With a focus on authenticity and inclusivity, HOF isn’t just leading the way in combat sports – it’s building the future.

Redefining Combat Sports Media

In January 2024, HOF started a new chapter, doubling its social media following from 520,000 to over a million in a matter of months. This growth propelled a successful Series A funding round led by CEO Matty Betss and was supported by Growth Box Ventures, a Malta-based VC firm focused on digital media and sports startups.

The funding is a new chapter for HOF and will enable the company to produce more content, upgrade coverage of UFC events, and introduce new formats. According to Matty Betss, HOF’s mission is clear: “We’re changing the way fans consume MMA content by bringing together elite fighters, betting experts, and creative content producers under one roof. From fight analysis to betting insights, we’re building a network that covers everything combat sports.”

The platform’s flagship show, “Show Me The Money Podcast” co-hosted by UFC stars Gilbert Burns and Renato Moicano and CEO, Matty Betss, has already gained a global following. This is just the start as HOF will be launching a range of fighter-hosted podcasts, original shows, and exclusive event coverage that will change the way we experience combat sports.

Building a Team of Visionaries and Fighters

The rise of Home of Fight is complemented by the strength of the team and the leadership behind it. Matty Betss, the CEO and mastermind of HOF, has changed the way we experience combat sports. Known for his honest and authentic approach, Betss has built a brand that speaks to the fans. His content, which shows both the highs and lows of betting, has earned him a loyal following and cemented his position as a leader in the space. “Betting isn’t just about winning – it’s about the excitement, the analysis and the journey,” Betss says. “That’s what we’re bringing to Home of Fight – raw, real experiences that fans can relate to.”

Under Betss’s guidance, Home of Fight has attracted some of the biggest names in combat sports. UFC commentator Jon Anik and fighters like Gilbert Burns and Renato Moicano bring credibility and first-hand knowledge of MMA.

The team also includes Hayden Iverson, a leading sports betting creator, and Roman Abdullaiev, the head of content. On the growth of the platform Abdullaiev says, “What started as a one-man show has turned into a beast. The next chapter is going to be even bigger.”

To keep up with the growth, HOF is adding more correspondents and writers. Under the guidance of Jake Noecker, the platform is becoming a destination for exclusive interviews, deep dives, and behind the scenes content. Jason Anik, Jon Anik’s brother, and other upcomers are joining the team to bring fresh perspectives to HOF’s content.

This team approach is changing the fan experience; by combining fighter insights, analyst thoughts, and betting experts HOF is giving a full view of combat sports to casual fans and hard core fans alike.

A New Era for Fans

Home of Fight doesn’t just cover combat sports; it reimagines how fans experience them. Traditional coverage only looks at what’s happening inside the octagon, but HOF looks at the stories, stakes, and strategies behind each fight.

Fans are no longer spectators; they’re part of the journey. HOF connects the athletes to the audience, providing tools and resources for pros and newbies alike. The platform is accessible and authentic for everyone, and that’s what creates a sense of belonging in the community.

With big plans and a growing community behind it, Home of Fight is set to be the future of combat sports media. The recent funding will be used to improve content, develop new programming, and increase presence at live events. “I’ve always been driven by a desire to create something truly special,” Betss said. “And I believe we’re just scratching the surface of what’s possible. The future is bright, and I can’t wait to share more of this journey – both the wins and the losses – with my followers.”
