Hong Kong, HKSAR. Ingenium International Ltd. (“Ingenium”) has been formed today through a management-led buyout of certain strategic operations of the former Pearl Engineering Solutions Limited (“Pearl”). The acquisition encompasses the manufacturing operations of Pearl located in China (Zhuhai), Malaysia, and Thailand. The executive management team of Ingenium partnered with Azendt Capital Management Ltd to fund the all-cash, all-equity acquisition.

“Azendt is very pleased to partner with the experienced and committed management team of Ingenium,” said Stephen Wong of Azendt. “We share a common vision of Ingenium’s potential and offer our full support to help the company realize its goals.”

“The executive team holds strong convictions about the fundamental merits of our business. In partnering with Azendt, we approached the management buyout with a desire to unshackle the business from the financial burdens that previously constrained our ability to optimize operations. Our all-equity acquisition now allows management to focus strictly on achieving operational excellence while satisfying our world- class customers with on time delivery of quality products,” said Kenny Wong, Ingenium’s President & CEO.

“We have enjoyed a longstanding customer relationship with the company. With its new corporate structure and a motivated management team, Ingenium should be better equipped to satisfy our growing product demands,” said Koichi Takahashi of Mitsumi.

“There has been a long positive and professional business relationship between Bosch and YingCheng (Ingenium Zhuhai) for more than 10 years in developing communication system products. Bosch trusts that Ingenium will become a stronger supply chain partner as it continues to expand its customer base and production scale while servicing the growing requirements of its customers. Bosch expects to keep working and promoting business development with Ingenium in a well-coordinated and professional way,” said Bosch.
