Everything went online. How is the education of the future created?

Education is a conservative area, but there have been shifts in recent years, shifts to online. Going there helps speed up and optimize processes, and the modern world requires just that. Traveling to a teacher at the other end of the city, disappearing for six months in advanced training courses is a long time.

EdTech projects at the intersection of education and technology – just all this online, just for people and for business, which you can create by clicking on the link https://keenethics.com/services-education-software-development. But what is EdTech, what are the current trends in education and what can we expect from the education sector in the future?

What it is?

Today, EdTech is a promising and rapidly growing industry, because conventional education cannot keep up with the speed of the modern world. School English is not enough for life. There are specialties that are not yet taught in universities, but they are already in demand on the market. In order for an employer to want you, you need to regularly master the innovations of your professional field. Online education is the answer to all these problems and contradictions.

Professional education from your phone

The most popular branches of EdTech are preschool and vocational education. Let’s stop at the last one. Why is online or remote employee training gaining momentum?

  1. Speed. Today there is new software, tomorrow there is a new sales methodology, and all this needs to be mastered and implemented quickly, because tomorrow there will be something new. Dropping out of the work process and sitting in lectures for a couple of weeks is a luxury.
  2. Saving. It is cheaper to launch and maintain an online training system than to maintain a training center, a staff of trainers and transport trainers to other cities if the company has branches throughout the country. Plus, a corporate course on a popular topic can be sold and thus finance training.
  3. Motivation. Online learning is perceived differently. Already by its format, it motivates to learn: an online course feels like a quest, a training video – like a YouTube video.

The ability to study from the phone leads to the fact that in your free time you study with pleasure, although no one forces you.

What else is important?

The main trend in education, including the aforementioned corporate one, is the transfer of everything online, this is understandable. Let’s go through the rest of the trends. The next one is gamification, that is, the introduction of game techniques into non-game processes, and the learning process from among them.

Another trend is individualization, that is, learning along an individual trajectory. To each according to his needs: courses are assigned pointwise, everyone in a row does not go through the same thing, everyone pumps their weak points. From each according to his ability: the student goes at his own pace and moves to a new stage when he is ready, and not with everyone else.

And another important trend is mobility. Training should take place where the student is now, courses should be downloaded on a regular smartphone, because a person can be in a completely different place.
