Before storm season comes around this time of year, homeowners are called to check in on the quality and durability of their roofs. Unexpected weather can happen at any time, making it a hard thing to prepare for in advance. One way residents of Long Island may hope to combat the unpredictable weather is turning to Clearview Roofing & Construction for any roofing or contractor needs. The family-owned business, currently run by Kevin Desmond and Chris Feniello, have recently announced their new location opening up in Babylon, NY. This new office will be added to their current locations in Port Washington, Huntington and Rockville Centre, as well as services offered to all of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties.

Clearview’s specialities include but are not limited to shingle roofing, TPO and EPDM Rubber Flat roofing, slate roofing, cedar shake roofing and skylights. The company also functions as a full construction company, offering both interior and exterior renovation jobs and contracting projects. These services will now be accessible to residents of Babylon, NY, when the new office opens up in the coming weeks.

Long Island and Queens residents may still turn to Clearview for any of their construction or roofing necessities, and as the company continues to grow, their volume of insurance restoration jobs has also expanded. Residents of Babylon, NY and the surrounding south shore of Suffolk county may find that there is an increasing demand for storm related roofing damage and flooding events. “We have all the mitigation equipment necessary to handle these insurance related claims, like air movers, air scrubbers and power vacuums to remove water out of basements from flooding or pipe burst events,” says Chris Feniello. “We have serviced many homeowners with their insurance claims and we feel that the south shore is in need of these services as well – this ultimately inspired our decision to open up the new location in Babylon, NY.”

“We get most roofs done in one day. Since we have such a large workforce, we don’t have our customers waiting weeks to months on end for their project to be scheduled. When we start a job, we stay on the job until we finish, and we are paid upon completion,” says Feniello. “We encourage customers to communicate with our employees and I feel it’s important to talk to the client throughout the process, beginning to end.” The company also offers free on-site estimates, fair pricing, and consistent communication between contractors and clients to help ease new clients into the process.

Clearview prioritizes safety and accountability through every project they take on. “We’re fully aware that roofing is a messy job – to accommodate this, we don’t use dumpsters and instead have dump trucks or dump trailers with wheels,” says Feniello. “This means we can move it closer to the home without damaging the driveway. We pay close attention to tarping and running a magnet around for nails. Nobody wants a flat tire or their animals or children finding nails in the yard!” Employees are also required to take Osha safety classes and go through ongoing training prior which is part of the job and a top priority for Desmond and Feniello. “Our employees are also GAF certified for both shingle roofing and flat roofing.”

The company also works with most major insurance companies in order to offer clients the most out of their claim. When unexpected damages take place, no matter what time or day, Clearview offers their efficiency to help with any sort of roofing or construction situation. Services are offered 24/7 Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Sunday.

For Babylon residents hoping to finally complete that renovation job or proactively improve the safety and lifespan of their roof, check out their new location opening up at 83 Fire Island Ave. (Suite 2), Babylon, NY, 11702.
