Born in Croatia and raised in Germany, Alen Gruber aka ALVIDO discovered his passion for electronic music at just twelve years old. Having made a name for himself as a local DJ, the German-Croatian newcomer went on to release “Afraid Of You” – which has become an international sensation with over one million streams on Spotify!

Since 2018 he’s been inspiring thousands of fans all around the world with his unique blend of electronic music. ALVIDO has created a stunning musical portfolio, combining his most popular hit “Afraid Of You” with the fresh future house and rave sound of his latest single “With You”.

Along with being a successful DJ, ALVIDO is also a great producer. And the song “Afraid of You” is his own production.

He puts an extraordinary amount of passion into each track – no wonder as music is now an integral part of Alen Gruber’s life. With hours spent listening to melodies every day in order to envisage how they can be best implemented, it takes up to six months for each project before that first demo is ready!

Taking breaks when there are moments writer’s block strikes yet without losing momentum shows dedication beyond comparison. Alen Gruber aka ALVIDO puts hours of passionate dedication into each of his tracks during production, but if writer’s block strikes he knows not to force creativity rather than wait until inspiration returns again. He truly has music at heart!

This also illustrates an important tip for those starting out: don’t give up on your ideas too easily! Creativity needs time and patience – something which ALVIDO definitely knows all about.
