MIAMI BEACH, Florida–Sustainable energy companies that are concerned about the gap in skilled workers for their projects have a new marketplace at their disposal: Site Worker. Founded by CEO AJ Fusco, the workforce platform is connecting skilled labor and subcontractors with clients for their jobs in energy projects, including biomass, energy storage, EV charging, solar, and wind.

“After analyzing the clean energy industry and assessing the pain points of companies and workers, I designed Site Worker’s platform as well as a training program as a solution,” says Fusco. “Our goal is to streamline the sustainable energy industry across the United States by providing flexible labor, a large labor pool, speed to hire, double accountability of workers through pre-vetting and reference checks, and payments that are processed within 3 business days of a project’s completion.”

Fusco is happy with the reception of Site Worker’s free training program, which assesses the skills needed for a client’s project and then helps workers to upskill.

“We have found that clients appreciate how quickly we can train talent and bring them up to the skill level required for a project,” he says. “Workers, for their part, like that they can learn useful skills that allow them to transition to different sectors. For example, while we can provide training in any clean energy sector, we are seeing many participants shift from solar to EV charging installation projects. And, with features like gamification, we are putting the fun back in clean energy jobs, which workers really enjoy.”

Fusco hopes that the launch of Site Worker and its services will strengthen America’s infrastructure as the demand for clean energy increases.

“Worldwide living standards are continuing to grow, and power consumption is projected to triple by 2050,” says Fusco. “Site Worker will provide the efficiency and structure that both companies and skilled workers will need in order to meet that demand.”

Site Worker was founded by CEO AJ Fusco, a serial entrepreneur with fifteen years of experience in building workforce management technology, marketing, operations, recruiting, and subcontracting. The company’s mission is to help overcome the gap in the number of skilled workers available for America’s clean energy projects. Site Worker focuses on providing a large labor pool for both mid-size and Fortune 500 companies, pre-vetting talent, paying subcontractors within 3 business days, supplying clients with one bill, and gamifying the performance review process. The result is a workforce system that is streamlining how clean energy projects are executed.
