Glam Lash Company Prissy Nikki’s CEO Nikki Corson Shares Her Advice on the Natural Beauty Trend

Pursuing beauty is, at its core, about loving yourself. And loving yourself is easy to equate with taking the best care possible of yourself. This means being aware of the ingredients in the beauty products you use, how they are made, and how they make you feel.

Prissy Nikki is a company that’s embracing the natural beauty trend. It makes a range of high-quality, reusable lashes that are glam as they are good for you.

When Nikki Corson, the lash brand’s CEO, created the brand, she did so with the aim of creating gorgeous lashes that embraced a natural look, enhanced feminine beauty, and were handmade with love.

Natural Love

Corson, who is also a high-powered construction executive for a multi-million-dollar roofing company, has been on a yearslong journey to truly loving herself and her natural looks. She didn’t always appreciate how she looked and often thought unkind thoughts about herself.

Regarding her beauty routine, she went through years when it was all about concealing this, hiding that, and controlling what she didn’t like about her looks instead of embracing what she did like.

Today, she treats herself and her beauty with more gentle kindness. The change was due, in part, to some honest conversations she had with her business mentor.

“When my mentor bluntly asked me why I felt like I don’t deserve to be loved, I instantly thought, ‘I don’t think that. I think I deserved to be loved.’ I sat there and thought about it,” remembered the CEO. “All the negative and harsh things I told myself every day came flooding to the forefront of my mind. I burst into tears. It was true – I didn’t think I deserved to be loved by anyone because I didn’t even love myself.”

Feel Incredible

She knew she needed a makeover from the inside out, and it ended with a more naturally beautiful look that employed natural and handmade products that made her feel incredible.

Experts in the beauty industry agree that natural beauty looks and handmade products are an emerging trend and the way forward as women move toward fashions that enhance their natural beauty rather than trying to camouflage and conceal. In fact, natural beauty is poised to be the most important beauty industry trend of all time.

“It is all about being natural and being your unique self. The beauty industry in the future will be going towards ‘love yourself’ and creating products that will help you embrace your natural beauty. I know that, as an industry, we are consciously moving away from the ‘fix yourself’ era of products and trends,” said Corson.

Here are her top three pieces of advice for jumping onto the natural beauty trend and making your natural looks shine.

Be Your Best Self

Corson advises that women looking for natural beauty products should always ask themselves a few questions when considering adding a new product to their makeup or beauty regime.

The first is, ‘Does this beauty product help me be a better version of my natural self?’ If the answer is yes, the product passes the naturally gorgeous test.

Prissy Nikki lashes are a handmade, vegan alternative option for high-quality lashes made with premium ingredients. The line offers a large range of different looks for everything from business meetings to soccer games and nights on the town. Choose from the popular Boss Babe Lashes, inviting Broadway Lashes, intriguing Drama Queen Lashes, fierce Dominatrix Lashes, wild-card IDGAF Lashes, and Euro-centric Milan Runway Lashes.

Go Green for the Earth

The next question to ask yourself is, ‘Is this product environmentally friendly?’ This was a question that Corson often asked herself when she purchased beauty items. And unfortunately, the items on the market often fell short.

That’s why, when creating her line, she ensured that every item was vegan, green, and environmentally friendly. “My lashes are premium, reusable, vegan, or faux mink. They care for the customers and the environment. I know that this will be the beauty industry’s focus in the future,” said Corson.

Feel Free and Fierce

The final query to pose to yourself when buying beauty products is, ‘Does this product help with my confidence? Do I feel more beautiful and fierce?’

Of course, Prissy Nikki’s lashes are designed to answer these questions positively. In fact, letting women feel beautiful and fierce is the mission of the company.

Though Corson battled with her own self-saboteur and negative inner voice when she was younger, she is on a journey to empower women through beauty today.
