He’s a bit of a legend in Richardson. Now, Zahidul Islam aka RJ TRICKSHOT is introducing his mind-bending techniques to billiard trickshot.Who is RJ TRICKSHOT?
Zahidul Islam, also known as RJ Trickshot, is a professional pool player who has won many tournaments. He is very well known for his characteristic Trickshots, which he buffed all across the years.
“After we interviewed RJ he mentioned that he has been playing pool since the age of 13.”
“I first owned my Pool Table in 2020. From then I watched the Greatest magician Efren Reyes videos where he did the coolest trickshot during the actual matches and not just that he also risked most of the shots during his big-money prize event. From him I started thinking more about the Trickshots.” – Zahidul Said.
We believe that Efren Reyes is the best and his works have always been in the industry. But can you explain more about Florian Köhler and your friendship?
Yes, If I say Crazy Pool Trick Shots then I got more inspiration from Florian. He’s not just the greatest but he does have a kind heart. He helped me with a couple of Trickshot and coached me in Pool aiming, Powerful Strokes as well.
How many Trickshots have you created your own?
I have created 17 of my versions of Pool Trick Shots. Which I haven’t released on social media yet. Also, I recreated a couple of trick shots as well.
What’s your achievement so far as of this moment?
I do have a couple of championships and trickshot titles. I won 9 times National championships as well as 10 times 10 Ball champions. I did play in APA and also in BCA.
When did you discover you could make a living off of it?
It happened in a roundabout way. Because my first viral video went viral and I had a few sponsorships, I chose to take a big risk. Although I do have a Computer Background. So my 1st priority is Computer Science and then Pool comes for my side income and extra support.
Can we anticipate you set any new world records in the coming months?
Absolutely. In fact, due to the epidemic, I had an event scheduled for next month that had to be canceled. I’m debating doing it live right then, but it’s difficult to say if we’ll be able to match Guinness criteria at those times. I’ll make sure to keep everyone updated!
