It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story? How did you get to where you are today?
I am Archie Kern, Your Favorite Wealth Strategist from Sallis, MS I help people make better decisions about their finances, credit, building business credit, and investments. I’ve been featured in a Fox article as “One of the Top Entrepreneurs you should know about. First I got to where I am by the grace of God and the mercy he has given me in my life. I started my career in financial education by just repairing credit, but I always wanted to do more to learn more, and that led to continued education and starting new adventures. I no longer repair credit anymore because I wanted to start the problem before it began. I wanted to teach people how to become make more money using simple tactics that would also help them on their journey to financial freedom. While doing these things and networking ended up learning about the trucking industry. My partner and I started our trucking company on January 26, 2021, and as of today we now have a fleet of 6 trucks and two trailers.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
The most challenging thing I had to overcome was to focus on one thing at a time and delegate. As an entrepreneur, we try to do all the work ourselves to save money. By doing that we take ourselves away from other important tasks that could help the business. So the challenge for me was learning to delegate. Once I mastered that things became easier for me.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
At this moment I help people one on one with wealth strategies. I help people understand credit and I have a portal that helps people understand and build business credit. I also help people that want to get into the trucking industry. I even give them my personal resources that I have used to help find and finance their fleet
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
There’s a quote that I like to use. “Attempt something so big that failure is almost guaranteed unless God steps in” Everybody’s “big” is different. What may be big to me might not be as big to someone else. So a key point to take from that is focus and you. Only compare you to you. The only person you need to beat is yourself. Once you realize the competition is you it becomes so much easier. Then you will also be able to unselfishly help others
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
To me, success means being able to take care of my family but also helping other people get in positions to help take care of their families as well. In order for me to feel like I’m being successful, I have to do both. Every day I want to motivate and inspire myself and everyone watching and connected to me to be a better version of yourself.
What’s next for you?
I plan on traveling and teaching. That’s my true desire. My goal is to start with the youth. Financial Literacy isn’t taught in schools, how to become a business owner isn’t taught in school, real estate isn’t taught in schools. I want to be able to give the youth more options than just jobs, college, trade school, and the military. There are many ways to be successful if you first understand the importance of credit and budgeting.
