With Web 3 being the most talked about subject on the internet and Meteverse making everyone excited, it seems we are truly looking towards a completely new world now. Amidst all this, NFTs have created a buzz of their own.

NFTs aren’t just helping artists get the deserving value for their art, they are now also helping promote some of the noblest causes. For example, KRebels is the newest NFT project which has started a mission to save koalas from extinction.

The founder of KRebels was devastated by the tragic bushfire event in 2020. He was on a business trip in South Australia at that time and tried to participate in rescue missions, but soon realized that the efforts of one untrained man are simply not enough. And just like that, two years later the Krebels was born.

KRebels is the first NFT project adopting real-life koalas. And that makes them and every single owner of their NFTs truly unique. While others are on the hunt for the next shooting star, Krebels is here to stay and provide much-longed-for comfort. The project has also partnered with the IFAW charity organization and is donating $50K and 5% of their sales.

KRebels uses cutting-edge technology to raise awareness for the good cause. The in-house artist has created 9,999 different koala inspired artworks that are being turned into distinctive NFTs. But the uniqueness of KRebels is not only about it being charity-focused. It carries a unique family-like approach for customers and opens the tech world to everyone thus making NFTs easy to understand, easy to buy and easy to enjoy.

The KRebels team plans to incentivize more engagement in their community, ultimately raising more awareness and funds to help save the koalas and their habitat. The project has garnered huge popularity already and is also being endorsed by celebs like Ronaldinho, Jason Derulo, Rich the Kid, Victoria’s Secret angel Daniela Braga and Sports Illustrated star Brooks Nader.

KRebels also has ambitious plans for the Metaverse invasion. They are producing their Youtube show and working on the game experience for their NFT holders. The members of KRebels will be able to gain access to the most luxurious koala-ty life which includes music events, fashion shows, charity galas and much more.
