Boxing Boyz is an exciting new NFT project launching in December that will combine the world of boxing with the crypto and NFT spaces unlike any project we’ve seen before. The team behind Boxing Boyz will release 10,000 unique NFTs, all uniquely designed boxing characters, many of which represent big names in the boxing and MMA universe – such as Anthony Pettis, Alistair Overeem, and Isaac Chamberlain.

Boxing Boyz developed their NFTs using 150+ different aspects, ensuring that each of their boxing characters has its own unique look. This is actually part of what makes the project so exciting. Particular characters that become especially popular because of an especially appealing look will gain value and strengthen this project.

Holders of these NFTs can use their boxing characters to participate in various activities through Boxing Boyz’ Metaverse. This project will launch its own token which will be used as a currency within the Metaverse. NFT holders will earn this cryptocurrency daily, which they can use to stake and earn more crypto through training, participate in exciting global tournaments where their NFT will step into the ring against other fighters, and purchase various items and abilities through the NFT Marketplace. These items and abilities make your boxing character even more fierce in the ring, so make sure you check out what it has to offer before the project’s VR component launches in 2022.

There is a great deal of interest building around Boxing Boyz. The involvement of former UFC Fighter Mike Swick – one of the co-owners of the collection – and renowned trainer Javier Mendez – known for training champions Daniel Cormier and Khabib Nurmagomedov, among others – brings an enormous amount of credibility to the project. Backing by legit names like Swick and Mendez, and partnerships with groups like Team Fury, lend Boxing Boyz more credibility than your average NFT project. Boxing Boyz is also frequently announcing new sponsors and partnerships. Developments like this tend to attract attention, so it makes sense that this NFT project has gained the attention of so many whales. Boxing Boyz community is also thriving, with their Discord amassing quite a devoted membership. This strong community is the heart of any successful NFT project.

One of Boxing Boyz most anticipated features must be the Tournaments. In these showdowns, NFT holders from around the world will watch a bracketed tournament unfold. Up to sixty-four NFTs, each unique and customized by their owner, will step into the ring for a one-on-one elimination match. The owner of the last NFT standing in the tournament will receive unique prizes, as well as the purse of tournament entry fees in Boxing Boyz crypto.

Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these NFTs. I’m hoping I land one with a funny face, because I think people would enjoy seeing that face get punched in the ring. Boxing Boyz launches December 2021, so check out their social media to stay up to date on announcements, developments, and updates.
