Born and raised in Florida, and currently residing in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Dwayne Corley is a modern day businessman driven by his motivation to lead his family to generational wealth and freedom. Dwayne has started his own freight dispatching service that is helping thousands to become entrepreneurs in the trucking industry.

Today, Dwayne is here with us to share his insights into the industry as a businessman and his journey in entrepreneurship.

Dwayne, let’s start with a little background into your story as an entrepreneur. What made you choose to create your business in this particular industry?

My business is a freight dispatching company, and my inspiration came from wanting to transition out of trucking and create a home based business where I’m still able to make money and feel secure in the confinements of my home. In some ways I became introverted and developed a little paranoia during the global pandemic and I’m sure I wasn’t alone in that. Before that I always thought about what my retirement plan would be and what I would be able to leave for my family after I leave this Earthly plane. Ultimately my inspiration came out of a combination of unfortunate circumstances as well as my desire to recreate a stable plan for the future that accommodated for the changes in the industry that the pandemic brought about.

It’s inspiring how you’ve been able to take a difficult situation and turn it into a triumph. What is the concept of your business that you have today?

As a freight dispatching service we do dispatching for owner operators and truck drivers, and handle all the paperwork, negotiating the loads to get them the best pay and ultimately handle everything behind the scenes so that the drivers can just concentrate on driving.

Behind the scenes our company also assists in creating entrepreneurs out of the owner operators by helping get their own authority, purchase more trucks under their name through a lease purchase program, insurance, factoring, etc. I can help your trucking company grow to new levels – ultimately my dispatching company acts as the business builders.

Dwayne, tell us a little bit about how your freight dispatching company stands apart from your competitors?

We’re not only in the business to dispatch drivers but we assist in helping you grow your business. We offer many different programs outside of dispatching to get your trucking company to another level. If you want your own authority, more trucks, insurance, fuel cards, factoring, etc., we can assist in all your business growth needs.

Aside from that, my own personal passion that I’ve put into this business is what sets me apart. This is the drive and motivation that comes from my love for my family and from my hunger in not wanting to disappoint. A lot of factors come into play as a black man that understands the struggles and is ready to attack those obstacles head on. Like I said, I want to change the dynamic of my family structure and hopefully create a domino effect for the younger generation of my family.

Sounds like your family values have helped you to really grow your business! Getting here must have been challenging in some ways. What kind of adversities did you face growing up and growing your business?

I come from humble beginnings. I had both my parents in the household, my father is the breadwinner, my mother is sweet and God-fearing and both of them were disciplinarians who tried their best to keep me off the streets. I teetered off and on but during my teenage years I really had to learn to remove myself from those types of situations that would get me into trouble and get onto a path that would get me further in life to create something big for my future family.

Dwayne, what does the future look like for your company and for yourself personally?

Personally I want to create an early retirement plan. I started this business in order to create something for my family. Having multiple streams of income will change the dynamics within my family and I want to leave behind a legacy for generational wealth so that my kids and their families and so on can all be their own bosses.

For the business, I want to become a fortune 500 company, and just lay out the plan where my family and my employees can get the most out of this opportunity.

Thank you for sharing your story and some insight into your business, Dwayne. Lastly, let us know how prospective clients can reach you.
