Today kiss cut stickers offer infinite possibilities for the branding of your business. From guerrilla marketing actions to giveaways, stickers can make for an eye-catching marketing tool or a welcome gift for your customers.

What is a kiss-cut sticker? A kiss cut sticker is a digitally printed, laser-cut adhesive that, unlike normal stickers, you can customize in the shape, color, and type of paper that you want. A special machine cuts the vinyl layer in the desired shape while leaving the backing as is.

The high degree of personalization allows you to add your logo and company details on kiss cut stickers. But these labels have another benefit in store for you! The special method of cutting through the vinyl, but not the backing, makes these stickers easy to use at any time. Read on and find out how you can create your own kiss cut stickers and win new customers!

Choose the right shape

The first thing you want to choose when designing a kiss cut sticker is its shape. Forget about the boring, rectangular pieces of paper, and create something that truly represents your business and serves your purpose.

Here are some suggestions for you:

  • If you need kiss cut stickers to spread around the name of your new business, take the chance and use the logo of your own company. No need to over-complicate it, keep it simple and essential!
  • If you want to use stickers as a part of a marketing campaign for the launch of a new product, choose a shape reminiscent of that product. Are you selling natural cosmetics? Then the die-cut silhouette of a tiny bottle of perfume, cream, or make-up item would be ideal!
  • In the case that you want to use these labels to raise awareness about a social cause, choose a symbol that captures the core message. For example, if you are participating in a campaign against deforestation, a small tree sticker would be the way to go!
  • Finally, if you plan to use kiss cut stickers as a giveaway, make sure that you choose a shape that your customers will like. This time, the focus is on them! Do you have a special Thanksgiving promotion? How about you used die-cut stickers in the shape of Turkeys with a discount code featured inside the shape.

Use bright colors

When it comes to choosing the colors for kiss cut stickers, don’t be shy! Many people believe that only neutral colors can be classy and elegant. However, this is not quite true: You can have a delicate, refined design without giving up the vibrancy of color.

Especially when your target is a younger audience, do not be afraid to dare. In a world where many companies scramble to get the interest of potential buyers, you can do no wrong with a lively, sparkling, colorful design!

A tip that will make your kiss cut stickers look more professional is adding a white border around the edge. Not only this will improve the aesthetics of your labels, but it will prevent the cutting machine from cutting too close to the image or logo, thus risking ruining it.

Use your brand

Kiss cut stickers will provide one essential service for you: catching the eye of potential customers. From then on, though, it is up to you to retain their attention, make them crave your products and services, and have them reach out for you.

Your captivating design will do most of the job, but do not forget to add the details of your company! Even the best-designed logo, in fact, can do very little in terms of increasing your sales if customers cannot find an email address or phone number that they can call for extra information.

Also, adding ways that people can reach you increases your image of approachability and reliability. People will know that, whenever they need your product or service, they can alsways refer to the sticker and they’re likely to place it somewhere they can’t forget. What more could you hope for?

Use space wisely!

While kiss cut stickers are a powerful marketing instrument, you need to use them appropriately for harvesting the best results. For this reason, the final tip that we want to share with you is to keep things simple.

The mistakes to avoid are essentially two. First, do not cram the available space with different images and writings. You want your labels to be rich in detail, but also to look aesthetically pleasing and not overwhelming.

At the other extreme, do not try to overcome the lack of space by choosing extra-large labels. Besides the additional costs, keep in mind that most customers have no use for a kiss cut sticker that they cannot easily apply on their phone, laptop, or other similar-sized items.

Professional Kiss Cut Stickers Printing

At this point, we are pretty sure you crave your own customized labels. Although you may still be wondering how to make kiss cut stickers. In reality, the process is quite simple:

  • Create the design. This can be done easily with the 4OVER4 design tool or you could choose one of their stickers templates.
  • Send the stickers to print where they will also be cut into the desired shapes.

If printing your own stickers from home consider that the machinery for cutting your stickers will be the biggest investment, with a cost that can vary from $200 to $400 for a basic one that you can use for DIY projects. Having this in mind, wouldn’t it be better to reach out to a professional printer for wholesale kiss cut stickers? At 4OVER4 you can get low minimums of 25 kiss-cut stickers for as little as $19. These are die-cut on a sticker sheet and are easy to peel off.
