Aminath Rooba Ali is a 25 year old Maldivian and is an artist by profession. At this moment in time, Rooba works at a resort called Ozen Bolifushi and in addition she also manages her own social media art pages.
Rooba has achieved some great heights in her life. In 2012, Aminath Rooba Ali represented Maldives in first of its kind SOUTH ASIAN COUNTRIES ART CAMP FOR CHILDREN, which was held in New Delhi, India, between 25th – 31st May in 2012. In November 2012, she gained the joint highest mark in Maldives in the Cambridge O Level examinations for ART and was awarded at the OUTSTANDING CAMBRIDGE LEARER AWARDS CEREMONY, MALDIVES. In May 2013, she also achieved the Top in Maldives Award in GCE 0’ LEVEL ART at the secondary school completion examinations 2012. The list of Rooba Ali’s achievements is quite long.
Rooba has also worked as a flight attendant in Island Aviation Service Ltd. For a short period of time, she worked as a Guest Service Agent at Villa Hotels & Resorts. Rooba has also completed a month long internship of Graphic Designing with Arcils Pvt Ltd.
Rooba is a true example of the saying – “Never keep the circle of your learning small. Let it expand.” The position of the artist is humble. She is essentially a channel. Though every artist was first an amateur, Rooba is someone who was born with professionalism. No matter whatever she has achieved in her life, Rooba still works hard every day to become internationally renowned artist and reach the highest potential while helping others to become their authentic selves. Rooba believes in the fact that creativity is contagious so she wants to volunteer to pass it on. Rooba is someone who believes in growing all together. Precisely, Aminath Rooba Ali is one of a kind.
