United Market: An App Changing the World for Music Producers and Engineers

Nobody works in the music industry by accident. You don’t accidentally create a beat, nor do you accidentally engineer an entire song. To work within the music industry, it has to be a passion—and a strong one at that. From long hours in the studio to missing meals and parties because you’re on your laptop working, whatever has led you to find your passion as a music production creative, United Market can help you succeed in it.

United Market is a revolutionary new app that was specifically made for music producers and engineers. Whether they are just getting started in the game and need to make new connections or are a billboard topping producer who needs a better way to manage their business, United Market can cater to everyone.

The app is currently focused on music producers and engineers as of now and going into launch said the United Market team.

“We as a team are composed of people who work within the music industry. We’re not business people turned into music production creatives. We’re producers and engineers turned people in business. As people in the industry, we are looking for the best way to help our friends and peers we see going through problems daily.”

The app has a variety of features, but it focuses on a few key things: collaboration, transparency, business management, goal-setting, and growth.

Collaboration has been one of the most vital components of the platform, as this is what most creatives within the music industry struggle with. The United Market platform is set to make collaboration easy and instant. Many of the biggest songs in the world have come about through—you guessed it—collaboration. Music producers often stress the importance of collaboration and how important it is to succeed in the music industry. However, producers can be hesitant to collaborate sometimes because of the lack of transparency in the community. United Market is a platform that makes the collaboration process transparent and honest throughout the whole project. From a progress tracker to instant messaging, transparency is a top value for the company.

In the collaboration process on the app, you can send beats and loops, schedule meeting times to work together, video chat to work remotely, send and check our partner’s progress, and much more. Transparency is within every step of our collaboration so that you are encouraged to work together more often.

“We noticed that after talking with hundreds of producers, they said their biggest problem was a lack of transparency within the industry, specifically the pre-production process. We knew that making this a priority for the company had to be at the top of our list,” said the United Market team.

The app features multiple forms of communication, including voice calling, video calling, and in-app text messaging. This has been huge, as it eliminates the need to transfer any personal information such as email addresses and phone numbers.

Another big reason why the app has a strong following while only in the beta stage is because it allows music production creatives to stay organized. No two days are the same for producers and engineers. One day you might be in the studio; the next time, you could be at somebody’s house working on an album. You just never know. The United Market platform has learned from talking with producers from across the world to see how they managed and organized their business. None of them said that their way was effective. However, they did all say that they could benefit from the app’s business management tools.

The app allows you to set your schedule, your availability, your goals, along with your rates. Without the need to check multiple different apps to see what you have scheduled and when, United Market lets you see everything at once. This is a key feature of the app that many are happy to use.

Lastly, the buzzing app team said they want to help the music production creatives put more money in their pockets.

“Here, we want to help the producers and engineers put more money in their pockets. We encourage them to transfer their Instagram, Twitter, and any other social media followers to their United Market profiles so that they can be turned into paying clients.”

That’s right. The new app will help you to convert followers to dollars. Turning followers into clients is something that every producer and engineer aspires to do, and now they can use United Market.

As of the writing of the article, the app is still in its beta version but is set to launch in early-mid September. However, you can go to their website today and create your profile so that upon launch, you can get right to work. Check out the United Market website and reserve your profile now!
