If you’ve finally decided to start building your credit score by getting and using a kredittkort, then I have to say that you are about to make a very wise move. Frankly, you probably should have done this a long time ago if you had the opportunity, but it’s never too late to do something good for your finances. So, go and get your card right now, as there is no need to wait any longer. Is there something stopping you from doing it?

Oh, of course there is! There’s always something stopping someone from doing one thing or another, but the good thing is that you will get over that obstacle and get yourself the beste kredittkort, i.e. the best credit card in Norway. That’s just what the thing is, though. You cannot decide which one is the best and that is precisely what’s stopping you from taking that final step and finally applying for your new card.

Well, let me tell you one thing. Nobody can know what the best thing is objectively, but a person can definitely manage to learn what the best thing is for him or her. In other words, if you are worried that you might not be able to find the card that you’ll be happy with, I say there’s no need to worry, since you’ll certainly succeed in doing this, just as long as you do some testing and some research. After you’ve gone through the testing process, you will also need to go through the process of actually getting the card.

Fortunately for you, I’ve decided to take you through both of these processes, i.e. the process of testing, and the process of getting your card in Norway. There is a fair chance that you are more confused about the testing process, which is the reason why that will be our first topic for the day. You can rest assured that the testing process isn’t as complicated as you might think it to be, but it will certainly require you to put some effort into it and take some right steps.

How To Test It

As mentioned above, the process of testing will not be as complicated as you’ve probably been perceiving it and picturing it in your mind. Luckily, there are some great sources out there that you can use as your testing platforms and as means of getting the information you require. In addition to checking out those sources, your task will be to take a few more significant steps and thus test the credit cards that you are thinking of using before actually applying for them.

1. Find A Comprehensive List

The very first thing you will need to do is find a comprehensive list of potential cards that you could order. I am sure that you already know about a few of these and that you have some of them in mind, but there are probably some great options out there that you might not have even heard of, and that has to change. The best way to change this is by searching for a comprehensive list of providers with the help of the Internet.

There are some amazing websites out there that could provide you with these lists and those websites are precisely what you should focus on when doing the searches. Of course, you should be careful as to which websites you choose to trust, as they might not all be as reliable as you would want them to be. This simply means that you’ll need to spend some time searching for the right sources, but you’ll certainly be able to find them if you put the necessary effort into it. So, be careful when deciding which sources to trust and then get that list from the most reliable one.

2. Find Info Websites

Your goal when searching those websites, though, shouldn’t be to simply find the one that could give you a list and basically nothing else. After all, you are trying to test the credit cards, and a simple list with no other pieces of information will be of no use to you. That’s a kind of a problem, so what is the solution? Luckily, the solution is quite simple. You just have to shift your focus towards searching for the right websites.

Basically, try to focus on finding those websites that are filled with all kinds of other information about your potential new credit cards. You want to learn about the interest rates, overall charges and general fees, but also about any types of reward programs that the providers might offer. Thus, search for those sites that can give you these types of info and that could possibly explain to you what the benefits of using a specific kredittkort could actually be. The best sites will get you informed about both the pros and the cons of using some of the cards, so try to find sources like those.

If you’re curious about the general benefits of using a credit card, you could find the info you need here: https://www.moneysupermarket.com/credit-cards/why-do-i-need-a-credit-card/

3. Read Reviews

The above tip might have led you to one particular conclusion. The absolutely best thing would actually be for you to find and read reviews about the kredittkort that you have in mind, or about more of them for that matter. Well, the websites that I have mentioned above will actually provide you with some sorts of reviews, but if you feel that you need a more comprehensive read, then you should specifically search for the reviews of certain providers. These will definitely come in handy and help you test the credit cards that you are thinking of using.

In addition to reading those general reviews that are filled with information regarding both the good and the bad sides of certain cards, you could also search for comments and reviews that some of the clients might have written. There is no better way to get your info than from people who have experience in the area in which you still don’t. In plain words, the opinions of other people will undoubtedly be useful, so make sure to either search for those online, or talk to some users in person.

4. Check The General Features

There’s no testing without checking out the general features of the kredittkort options that you find. Those features are going to influence your entire experience with certain credit cards, and I believe that you want to have a great experience. In order to ensure that great experience, you will have to check out the general features of various different cards, until you have found the ones you like. This includes checking fees, APRs and basically everything else you want and need to know.

5. Make Comparisons

Your final stage of testing should consist of comparing the actual findings and basically weighing all the pros and cons of different cards and different providers. After making these comparisons, you will be able to say that you have completed the testing process and that there is only one thing left to do. That thing is, of course, applying for your credit card and getting it.

How To Get It

Yet, before you rush into that step and fill out your application, you will need to do a few more significant things. Above we have been talking about how to test the kredittkort that you are thinking of using, or more of them, but now we need to talk about how to actually get this card the right way. Yes, there is a right and a wrong way of doing this and the wrong one would be for you to just skip an entire line of important steps and apply for the kredittkort without thinking things through. The right way would be to follow the tips below.

1. Choose Your Provider Carefully

As mentioned, above we’ve been talking about how to test the kredittkort, but we cannot fail to mention that the providers will need to be sort of tested as well. After all, your actual experience with the card you get will depend on your choice of providers. This brings us to the conclusion that you should carefully make that choice and that you definitely shouldn’t rush into it. The question is, though, how you can ensure that you’re making the correct choice.

Here’s what you should do. Get as much information as possible about particular providers, but focus specifically on their reputation, as that will certainly play the biggest role in the final choice that you’ll make. You could check their reputation by taking a look at some reviews, including the ones that I’ve mentioned above whilst talking about the testing process, or you could try and get in touch with some of their previous clients directly, so as to see what they have to say about the entire experience and their level of satisfaction with the cards and the whole package of services received by the provider. The best thing would be to do both of these things, if possible.

2. Double Check The Costs & Terms

While you have probably checked out the overall costs and terms of getting a particular kredittkort during the testing process, the truth is that you should always double check this with the provider. Feel free to ask all the questions you have and, most importantly, let the company representatives explain all the charges and the fees, as well as the general and overall terms of your potential cooperation. Double checking these things will help you understand if the choice you’re making is actually the right one, or if you should perhaps reconsider it. So, don’t rush into anything and always double check.

3. Apply

There is not much left to do after having gone through the two significant steps above. This means that you can now start filling out the application and then wait for your kredittkort to arrive, so that you can start using it. The best part is, these applications can now usually be completed online, which puts you at a great advantage, as you won’t need to wait in lines in order to apply for your card.
