In the story of Harold Shipley, the one-person show proves that the story of his life is the story and reason for the music itself. He is on an undertaking of willingness to learn and change after his mixed mishaps and wrong choices in life. The music artist yearns to achieve so with the help of music.

Harold Shipley spent earlier parts of his youth in New York’s borough of Staten Island and later relocated to the Bronx. Although adjustment to the new environment was transitional, it was also the moving to the new city that introduced him to hip hop—music and culture. Up to the present, Shipley remembers the feeling of sudden inspiration, sharing, “I felt the music speak to me.”

His life seemed to come to a pause when his family later moved to Connecticut. However, instead of leaving the marks of change music gave him, Harold Shipley pursued his fondness for the art. At that moment, his passion only increased persistently.

Still, even with deep dedication, like most people, misfortunes and adversity come when one least expects it. Like many other teenagers in high school, this applies to the young musician, who devoted himself to the art form. After only scoring a regional hit, Shipley found success to be limited.

His desire to become a frontman in Hip Hop grew stronger. But after pushing through and when his efforts were recognized abroad and overseas, Harold Shipley had to accept a harsh reality—it was not enough to provide for himself or his family.

His Endeavors kept him busy. Soon, illegal avenues became a way of life for him with the cost of spending time away from his loved ones. It was in the midst of tribulation that he redirected his energy towards realizing the reasons for the failure and necessary changes in his life.

Among the many answers he found, Harold Shipley emphasized the need for mentorship and management, knowledge of the music business and industry, focus, and marketing towards success. The music enthusiast now redefined his art by being a mentor, CEO of a label, and starting Getto Pecvsso Music Group (GPMG) Records.

In GPMG Records, Harold Shipley pushes the narrative of individuality. His company’s efforts include focusing on the quality and attention given to artists, reality mentoring based on experience, and preparing them for the industry with the proper tools and knowledge. It also grasped success with platinum awards and is releasing fresh beats like the single “Fractions” by Millionz of Bar$ and Kent Jones. Additionally, it tells a story that makes people relate and evoke emotion.

As an up-and-coming artist, Harold Shipley gives substance and creativity unlike any other. He shows how a ravenous desire to overcome challenges and transform is a successful tool if used with good intent.

Harold Shipley hopes to spread the message that he shows nothing but himself in his art, with determination, patience, hard work, and a speck of bravado. He is the epitome of success after the will of earning it.
