Gian Saunders, aka the Fierce Female Financier, and Brett Pipkin are excited for the goals they set for themselves in the coming years. Currently, the duo operates a successful financial firm in San Diego, where their mission is to bring financial literacy education and the possibility for generational wealth to the underserved communities that they were once a part of. On top of it all, they are also planning their wedding and their future together.
“We help the underserved community learn the foreign language of money,” Saunders shares, “because it is a language.” Helping people in Southern California decipher the linguistics of money has been a continuous mission for Saunders and Pipkin, and they hope that the work they are doing is inspiring people to continue spreading the message. “This is really about how many others lives can we change, how many others lives can we impact,” Saunders says.
Both Saunders and Pipkin realized this was their goal in life when they saw the systemic financial issues plaguing various communities, even ones they were once a part of. The couple preaches the extinction of what they call “ignorational wealth,” or debt that could have easily been avoided with proper education. “By far the most rewarding part of our business is being able to give back to the underserved community and being able to literally build and grow and develop others,” Saunders states. For the financial advising duo, the mission will never be complete until everyone is literate in their finances and has a healthy relationship with their money. Doing their part to teach their goal is a never-ending hustle that they are more than ready to take on.
