Gigi Vega is an emerging pop artist who has impressed everyone with her exceptional works in the entertainment industry. She wears many hats and she is popular as a singer, songwriter, stage performer, and youth influencer.
Gigi was born in Boston and she was introduced to the stage of theatre during her growing years. At 12, she started writing in the company of her father, a jazz musician. Gigi Vega got her training in modern and hip-hop dance during her youth at Jeannette Neill Dance Studios & Broadway Dance Center.
She is seriously pursuing pop music and she has shown her musical talent with a couple of hit pop songs. Last year in November 2020, Gigi Vega came up with her single, “Mistletoe Kiss” on Christmas. It got an amazing response from the target audience.
“MISTLETOE KISS” went viral on TikTok with more than 15k videos and 10 million views. It was nominated for a 2021 Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Moreover, it rose to #3 on the iTunes Dance Charts and it stood at #27 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary (AC) charts.
Apart from this, it was also counted in the top 30 on the Radio Charts. It also got included in the Netflix movie, “The App that Stole Christmas”. Recently, Gigi Vega has come up with a new single, “Watchu Tryna Do?” which got released on January 22, 2021.
Within a limited time, it has reached #50 on the Top 40 Radio Charts and #26 on the R&B iTunes Charts. Its music video got released in mid-February and it has got over 1.5 million views. Gigi Vega was a part of the ABC Hallmark TV movie filmed in Boston, The Makeover.
Moreover, she also made it to the final audition round for the movie, “Manchester by the Sea”. Gigi was accepted by the prestigious Boston Conservatory at Berklee but she chose to pursue her music career. And she is doing fabulously in the pop music world.
