Everyone knows that Ben Affleck loves playing poker and blackjack. One time he even got banned from the Hard Rock casino, so he could only keep place bets on online live dealer casino games. But there are lots of facts that even fans don’t know about Ben Affleck. These are the 4 top ones.

Shared a Bank Account With Matt Damon for Many Years

Ben and Matt have known each other since early childhood and have been pals most of their lives – both grew up in simple families in Boston, both dreamed of a career in film, together they wrote the screenplay for the film “Good Will Hunting”, in which they starred, won an Oscar for the film and continued their careers side by side. Unsurprisingly, such a close relationship also touches on the lifestyle of the star friends.

It was Affleck who brought Damon into the film industry, infecting him with his love for movies. When fame fell on the young guys, they decided to share the success literally – have a common bank account, which redirected their fees. Thus, actors have proved the absolute trust of each other, which many could only envy.

Filmed in Advertising for $1 Million

Contrary to public skepticism, many stars love to star in commercials, given the fact that the commercial itself may last only a few seconds, and the fee for the shoot will run into seven-figure sums.

A similar experience of making quick money is also at Affleck. If once an aspiring artist who earned $300 thousand for the script of “Good Will Hunting,” considered himself the richest man in the world, then, after his career went uphill, the actor has noticeably increased his appetite. Thus, at the height of his popularity, Affleck starred in a brief commercial for L’Oreal for $1 million.

Suffered From Depression and Was Treated for Alcohol Addiction

Although Ben grew up in a family of teachers, not so long ago, he admitted that his father and aunt all his life had alcohol dependence, which was passed on to him. The actor also said that he has always been depressed and preferred to fill his melancholy with hard drinks. According to him, once he got to the point that he drank all day long, refusing to work and not participating in the life of their own family.

It is noteworthy that the actor was sent into rehab by his friend and fellow actor Charlie Sheen, who also at one time needed specialized help. Ben now admits that he could take control of their addiction and rethink a lot of things in life. The best proof of his words, of course, is the way in the last year Affleck has changed. He has lost a lot of weight, stopped being moody and seems to enjoy his relationship with his new lover Ana de Armas.

Cheated on Jennifer Garner With Their Nanny

When the stars got married in 2005, it seemed that Affleck had found his soulmate. The spouses were inseparable and in 10 years of marriage gave birth to two daughters and a son. Yet, in 2015, the news of the actors’ divorce spread around the world. Oil in the fire poured and the news about the reason for the separation – it turned out that Affleck cheated on Garner with their children’s nanny named Christina.

Participants did not comment publicly on the incident and tried to stay away from all rumors. Subsequently, Jennifer and Ben established a good relationship for the sake of their heirs. Ben assured he had learned his lesson and strongly repented of the pain he had caused to the woman he loved and the children.
