How did you find your passion for music?

I’ve always had a passion for music growing up because my parents would buy the latest album releases, but In 6th grade I seen my close friend Tbam making beats, recording over them and releasing it all from his Grandma house. From that moment I knew it was possible & something I wanted to do.

Before initially getting into music, is there any other passion, in particular, you wanted to follow?

No I didn’t have any other passion before music. I was just a kid trying to have fun.

Many people have a different perspective on this, but what does it mean to “break a record”?

Breaking a record is to take a song not many people know and getting a mass people over the world liking & requesting the song.

Do you believe that it’s something that can be done by a single person or only a collective of people?

It can be done by a single person but having a group of people is always better and improves the chances of breaking the record.

What can we expect from DJ Murph this year?

This year you can expect my first single & EP all produced by me and a couple producers I work with. Also look forward to placements with a few major artists.

Do you have a message you would like to share with your fans?

Stay focused & stay humble! Never give up on what you believe in.
