Businesses in the fashion world have a range of markets to explore, but companies can often leave many people feeling neglected. However, Christopher Chong and his team are pulling out all the stops to ensure nobody is prevented from wearing the clothes they love.

Inclusivity is key

As one of the biggest plus size retailers online, ensuring inclusivity for all is a top priority for Giti Online Inc.

Shoppers who require plus size clothing can often be left behind in today’s ever-changing world of fashion.

But Giti has made supplying more products for plus size shoppers its mission, as it sees a lot of customers requesting more of these products.

It is absolutely unacceptable for companies to discriminate and fail to provide clothing for plus size shoppers – but thankfully this is not an issue for Giti, which is leading the way in this area.

Passion project

There are many valuable lessons that Christopher Chong has learned in his career to date.

Launching a business is not easy and it takes a lot of time, as well as sacrifices. Many people tend to start on something and then quit a few months in.

But Christopher believes that if you are truly passionate about something you will find any means necessary to keep your passion project going.

The business started from getting one to three orders a week to now getting thousands thanks to its wonderful customers.

Bridging the gap

Giti is an online store created for free spirited girls who are not afraid to show off their personality through fashion. It opened its doors in Gainesville, Florida, back in August 2003.

As soon as the store was opened, it quickly became the source for the most current fashion in Gainesville. Now based in Miami, Florida, Giti sells unique clothing in a vast range of trendy styles.

But what Christopher and his team offer is simply unmatched.

Giti maximizes your shopping experience by offering the latest styles in fast fashion clothing.

But it is not letting up in its efforts – despite having much success already.

The company’s goal is to become a one-stop e-commerce shop that customers can purchase a full outfit from, head to toe. Of course, big boutiques like Fashion Nova and Pretty Little Thing have much more reach than smaller companies but Giti is trying to bridge the gap and continue its growth.

International vision

While it may seem a daunting and unimaginable goal for many in the fashion world, Giti is on a mission to broaden its appeal and reach new markets all over the world.

Christopher is looking forward to expanding the business to reach all parts of the globe as much as possible. The company is vowing to expand its business into more international regions over the next decade. Year over year, Giti’s international customer base is expanding and it would like to cater some more specific styles and products towards these international customers.

Consistent content

Although Christopher is thriving in the industry, he also hopes to inspire and help other people hoping to emerge in the sector. His message to young entrepreneurs is that no matter how much inventory or experience you have, make sure to have a great brand identity.

He believes social media is your advertising platform and that social media posts can go hand in hand with advertising. But he emphasises that the key is to create good content and continue doing this on a consistent basis. Most boutiques tend to use stock images from the manufacturer but if you really want to stand out from the rest then you should create your own material.

You will not regret it – it will pay off significantly.

The team behind Giti has been key to this fashion brand’s success. This was remarked few times by the founder.
