Since Alp Akmaz started playing the mini keyboard when he was about five years old, it was already clear that he was born to build a career in music. He would often try to impersonate artists while watching TV, listening to the radio, and various other channels. By the time he turned fourteen and began to play a particular type of woodwind flute called the balaban, this multifaceted musician immediately embraced the craft with a goal of inspiring change in the realms of woodwind and traditional instruments.
Highly driven by his goal of stretching the industry’s horizons, Alp Akmaz helps his fellow musicians by addressing problems and providing solutions. Having graduated in 2014 from an Italian University, Antonia Buzzolla Conservatoria, Alp proceeded to further his studies in music at Halic University Conservatory. Alp was determined to transcend limits and break barriers.
