People have enjoyed chocolate for thousands of years. It is widely available in many forms and iterations. But there is some chocolate made from only the best quality cacao and crafted by expert artisans. Chocotastery was founded to elevate how people enjoy craft chocolate. By providing guided tasting events, this company sheds light on how much work goes into each artisanal bar.

Chocotastery is rapidly becoming the go-to resource for chocolate education and tasting experiences. Glenn Petriello, the owner and founder of Chocotastery, is a chocolate sommelier who graduated from chocolate and cacao-focused classes from Ecole Chocolat, Fine Cacao and Chocolate Institute, and Institute of Culinary Education. Glenn Petriello has taken his love and passion for chocolate and created a space where like-minded individuals can grow their understanding and appreciation of the sweet treat. Using his expertise, Glenn allows his customers to experience chocolate in a way they never have before.

In every two-hour class, participants learn where chocolate comes from and how it is made. Then participants go through a guided chocolate tasting to find out how to detect and enjoy the complex flavors present in different artisanal craft chocolate. Seasoned enthusiasts and newcomers to the world of craft chocolate are welcome at these events. By providing participants with an easy-to-understand tasting guide, Chocotastery helps participants learn the art of mindfully tasting chocolate. Flavors and qualities that previously go unnoticed will become a larger part of the tasting experience. Clients leave these events with a greater appreciation of the work that goes into each bar of chocolate.

Chocotastery takes chocolate enthusiasts on a tour of different cacao origins and their unique flavor profiles. The company does this by highlighting four craft chocolate makers at each tasting. Their team works with various makers and organizations throughout the year to highlight new bars or give more exposure to specific cacao origins from different parts of the world. Sourcing craft chocolate from several makers enables this company to provide unique tasting experiences for their customers.

Chocotastery also offers training for those who wish to lead a tasting event. One-on-one or group coaching is available for those who want to improve their chocolate tasting skills. The company is also working on an online course for anyone curious about chocolate. This course will have in-depth content on topics such as the unique qualities of cacao sourced from different places and the process of making chocolate from seed to bar.

Curated chocolate bars are also available at Chocotastery. Chocolate lovers looking to explore craft chocolate can choose from a bundle of two to four bars. These are selected from the finest quality chocolate on the market and shipped directly to customers.

Of course, chocolate is only made possible by hardworking cacao farmers. Chocotastery is committed to supporting heirloom cacao farmers from different parts of the world through the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund’s Adopt a Tree Program. Contributing to the growth of these farms helps the lives of farmers and their families and ensures cacao biodiversity for fine chocolate.

Chocolate is loved and enjoyed by people all over the world. Chocotastery takes that love and deepens it by guiding others in exploring the complex and subtle flavors of craft chocolate. They turn each bite into a sensory and learning experience rolled into one.

Chocotastery is the place to discover a whole new world of chocolate. For more information, you may visit their website.
