The Reasons Why Yung Gecko Uses A Home Studio

Many artists in the music industry depend on audio engineers at studios to record, mix, and master all of their songs, but Yung Gecko believes this is unnecessary for most. Paying for studio time can rack up a hefty bill of hundreds of dollars for something which can be done at the comfort of your own home.

For Yung Gecko, a good microphone, a few accessories for the microphone, headphones, studio monitor speakers, a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and a knowledge of mixing and mastering is all that is needed to produce a song to industry standards.

With artists already spending high capital on buying beats, a few hundred dollar investment in a home studio could save a musician thousands in the long run. Many songs that have been released initially by artists were made on low budget audio equipment, but were able to gain traction to music consumers. Yung Gecko believes that if a song is catchy and appealing to the public, then it will find exposure through the project’s sheer potential.

Artists should not be discouraged from releasing music due to poor audio equipment, stopping yourself from recording due to this is only building a wall between your music and a path to success.
