Donald Robinson: Entrepreneur, Musician, and Author

It doesn’t take long to discover just how much talent Donald Robinson has. He’s a hip-hop artist, entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker all rolled into one. Donald is the CEO of three thriving businesses: Technology Squad LLC, Black Art Records LLC, and Mental Motivation Ebooks. Yet despite all he has accomplished, he’s only getting started.

Donald Elvin Robinson Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on November 25, 1995. He’s only twenty-five years old, but he’s built a niche for himself in the music, ecommerce, and motivational space. Donald graduated from Roxborough High School and proceeded to pick up a business degree at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Two years into college, he left his program to start his own business. He spent a few years under his father’s wing, managing his properties and businesses and gaining experience and knowledge along the way.

Soon after, he had enough to spread his own wings. He started Black Art Records and launched a music career. His company would take on a social business model, using his business’s profits to give back to communities’ poorest by providing low-income households with housing.

A few stretches later, Donald ventured into starting another business, Mental Motivation Ebooks, a motivation company that has now helped thousands of customers build up mental resilience through motivational training materials, mostly in the form of ebooks. Donald’s downloadable ebooks share a wealth of knowledge on various topics, including self-improvement, growth, stress management, brain power, finances, investing, and real estate, to name a few.

“We are changing the game every day with new fresh content with motivational music and new fresh motivational reads that will improve your moods and lifestyle,” shares Donald Robinson about his two ventures. While relatively a novice entrepreneur in many respects, Donald makes up for that with a solid work ethic and unwavering dedication. Unmistakably, the entrepreneur and artist also have a lot of raw talent. He hopes to scale his businesses into large corporations that will change the music and motivation scene in time.

Donald has recently jumped into the e-commerce scene, launching an online shop called Technology Squad. The virtual store provides a wide selection of high-quality electronic products, including speakers, headphones, smartwatches, device chargers, and mobile accessories. The venture has experienced unprecedented growth in a short time due to its commitment to delivering quality with the customer’s experience in mind.

What drives Donald Robinson to keep pushing forward is his humble origins. As a man who has come from the bottom, he knows what it feels like to struggle daily. Today, he’s created an internal resolve to hustle hard and grind, hoping to leave the tough days behind him. He follows after the footsteps of two entrepreneurial giants—his father and grandfather—who have served as solid role models for Donald to emulate.

Donald Robinson hopes to one day grow more businesses and scale them up to six-figure businesses. With the promising results the entrepreneur has seen in record time, it’s likely that his trajectory upward is only in its earlier stages and that he’ll climb up to greater heights in the coming years.
