Caroline Crowder loves to create. Whether it’s spending hours editing platforms, creating content or watching YouTube tutorials to make adjustments to logos or website banners on Adobe, she is constantly immersed in her craft. Because of her incredible work ethic, it’s no surprise that she’s had so much success with her media consulting company, PSC Media.

Through PSC Media, stemming from her social media name Project Sweet Caroline, Caroline has worked with recognizable brands such as Revolve, JCPenney, The NFL, and Lyft. She also consults with brands on strategy calls, helps them with their content calendar, and even has various accelerator programs where she works with brands to develop social media strategy and improve their content.

With all of the success she’s already had with PSC Media, her path to get there was unique. Caroline attended the University of Maryland and majored in communications, and had no real plans of creating content and consulting with brands for a living. During a semester abroad in Italy, however, she started a personal travel blog to keep her family updated on her travels. The blog, Flight2Firenze, wound up getting published on a TripAdvisor forum, and she began to develop an audience.

Drawing on her passion for writing, she continued to post blogs about fashion and beauty while living on a budget. She got into a groove of blogging daily, and realized how much she loved creating content. This newfound discovery of content creation blossomed into her posting lifestyle content to Instagram, and collaborating with other brands. Before long, Caroline had expanded her brand to both TikTok and YouTube and started consulting with companies. Thus, PSC Media was born.

Caroline is a self-starter. She’s motivated by the unlimited potential of being an entrepreneur, and loves being her own boss. But, she has advice for anyone who is hesitant to get started. First, don’t be too scared to ask questions and reach out to people who inspire you. Some of the people Caroline used to look up to are now her peers, and she’s more than willing to pass advice on to smaller creators seeking advice.

Second, she advises someone just starting to not get too comfortable. “Social media as a whole is an ever-changing industry, and being able to adapt and capitalize on the current trends will help ensure that you are successful.” Caroline has always stayed on her toes when it’s come to social media, and her success is a testament to how important it is to always be ready for the next trend.
